Hypothetical question for people who dislike Tannis' character direction in 3:
Hypothetically if you could pick ANYONE to replace her in inheriting Angel's Phaseshift, who would you pick?

LF Quest mods (read description)
Trying to buff out my modlist again, as per usual, this time for a few saves i intend to do
I prefer story driven mods that are not lewd/nsfw, and do not use generative AI.
I'm specifically looking for:
- vampire hunting quests, especially if they allow vampires to hunt too, this includes story quests or factions either or.
- adds new factions to the game similar to mercenary work/fighters guild in morrowind/oblivion.
- quests fit for a mage. Big plus if its connected to Aldmers, Auriel or anything about ancient magic. My mage is thousands of years old so!
Side note 3 of my favorite mods are The Forgotten City, Project AHO and Sirenroot, both were fantastic! So that's a general idea of what i like.
(Also sorry if these posts are repetitive i just enjoy modding the oblivion outta skyrim)

Oblivion GOTY (original) controller support on steamdeck
Trying to get controller support on original Oblivion, its half working, im using both Northern UI, MajorJim's ui (with a patch to be compatible) and steam inputs, so far it seems like only the trigger works to click things in menus and i cannot navigate my inventory, has anyone gotten controller support working? Ive checked protonDB as well.

Quest mods/expansion mods reccomendations (Pc/steamdeck)
Gonna be starting a few runs of Oblivion (06, not remaster) and id love some reccomendations, questlines, even some cool armors, as long as it isnt NSFW or uses AI voice acting/assets. Would prefer lore friendly mods.
If you have overhaul mods to make certain gameplay aspects different that may work too, but I'm not looking for graphical overhauls.

Using a steamdeck with the usual OLED 500GB/1TBSD specs, i haven't altered anything in the distro either so its SteamOS.

Tried multiple proton versions already.
trying to get the sims 3 working on my steamdeck, i installed Via wine and a tutorial (I'm unsure if I can link here) on reddit, it launches fine outside of steam (thru wine) but it says "unable to start, please reinstall base game" im running it through GE Proton10-34 compatibility tool but ive used a few other Proton tools as well.
Im assuming it has to do with Proton.

I once again played about a dozen quest mods so I will put my opinions down on the mods that stuck out to me

Clockwork
​
Though the mod only has a small questline, i quite like the home it comes with. Its got a bit of a cozy, yet desolate feeling. Would fit a telvanni or a powerful sorcerer character build. I also like the NPCs in this.

Project AHO
​
May actually be one of my favorite skyrim mods, im a HUGE sucker for anything related to Morrowind and chimer/dunmer, and Telvanni is my favorite House. The map is so beautiful, the music being original mixed with Morrowind's soundtrack was phenomenal, and Yen-Ylu is my new skyrim husband.
Also, the voice acting was damn great. My only gripe is i should be able to have Yen as a follower and a spouse idc.

Ravengate -

Honestly i really liked Ravengate. There was a few bugs to deal with but i really enjoyed it, really like the NPC running it too but i may be biased since hes a Dunmer. I for some reason really love Arena mods

Was a single quest but it was long enough, i didnt mind running around trying to find keys and stuff, i liked the worldspace too.

Sirenroot - probably up with Project AHO as one of my favorite mods. Music was fantastic, loved the characters, the gameplay is like a cross between tomb raider and skyrim- and i love Tomb raider (grew up on the original and lara croft legend series) only issue i cant marry the sea elf...found a folllwer mod for her tho so good enough.

If you have any mod reccs that are similar to project AHO or Sirenroot feel free to reccomend, ive played quite a bit at this point. I prefer mods that are lore friendly and preferably not lewd. Bonus if its Dark Elf/Dunmer/Morrowind related. If theyre story driven with voice acting (with HUMAN voice acting no AI) that's a bonus too.
