Or, what's the project you're putting off casting on (or may even never cast on)? For whatever reason. I'm bored at work, and I'm curious!

My big one is Flight of Fantasy. It's so far above my skill level, as a fairly beginner knitter who hasn't done any lace projects before. So, for now, I'll just dream about it. I've attached a picture and the link so that you may revel in its beauty too.

I heart my big bowl of tuna.

Light shredded tuna (in brine) – 100g

Chinese cabbage – 450g

Mushrooms – 50g

Low fat smooth cottage cheese – 248g

Feta – 40g

You can also guess per serving. I've divided it up into 3 servings!

And if you want to go the extra mile and guess the macros that may also be fun!

I'm an English knitting and I'm using this small project to learn continental.

I can't help but think that my stitches looked twisted. I've Googled comparison pictures, but, truthfully, I don't trust my eyes on this. Any help would be appreciated?

Hi :) I got this from a restaurant. The restaurant doesn't have any nutritional info online.

It's chicken and feta poppers, and I paired it with some sweet chilli sauce. I've logged it as 355 calories. Does that sound about right?

I marinated the ostrich steak in soy sauce, chipotle tabasco, and salt and pepper. Then cooked it in ghee, with carrots, mushrooms, and cabbage.

I wish the swicy were sweeter. I think it could have done with a bit of cheese or a little bit of mayonnaise stirred through.

Hi everyone :) Longtime lurker, first time poster. Would love to hear what you have to say about me based on my current read – "Dr Zhivago" by Boris Pasternak – and my next reads, being:

1. "Twilight of the Eastern Gods" by Ismail Kadare

2. "The Testaments" by James Frey (which I'm reading on a recommendation from a friend)

3. "The Satanic Verses" by Salman Rushdie

4. "Vellum: Book of all hours" by Hal Duncan

(PS. sorry if this isn't allowed. I'm hoping to move soon, have enough space to unpack all my books, and finally have a bookshelf.)

I owe several people apologies for not trying it sooner. It's even better than my favourite Samyang Buldak (Quattro cheese) – and a fraction of the price.

Only thing, I tried Mi Goreng Hot & Spicy and either my heat tolerance is now higher than I realised or this isn't actually that spicy 🤔💭

I jumped into Doctor Zhivago to have context for Kadare's Twilight of the Eastern Gods (which I will be reading next). I truly enjoyed the first 100 or so pages. It was so dynamic and beautifully written.

But now at around the 150 page mark, I find myself slogging through. It's quite boring and the writing (or translation) has also lost a lot of its charm and character.

I'll still push through and finish it, regardless of how long it takes, but I hope that it picks up and I can start enjoying it again.

What are your thoughts about Doctor Zhivago?

It's so easy for my friends (also lesbians) to date, be wanted, romantically pursued, and to be... well... loved. I just get lusted after, over and over and over and over. And when I actually like someone, I get rejected or ghosted.
