Feeling down after 6 weeks on it: still hope?

Hi!
I'm on Duloxetine since 6 weeks ago, first 40 then 60. I'm still feeling down and want to cry: this is the 4th med and I'm tired.
In your experience, there is still hope that can work?
Thanks and sorry for my english!

After more than a decade of ed: how do I choose recovery?

Hi!
First of all I’m sorry for my english but is not my language.
I suffer of ed since 16 and I’m 33 now.
Not uw (I know doesn’t matter but you know) but so into rules and all shit of ed.
I also know sounds idiot but I really really want to recover and go all in (to say the concept) but every day I say I will do the day after and so on.
I’m really scared: because I don’t feel “worthy” and because I don’t know how also if is stupid because I know that you must eat and stop.
But I’m afraid because ed is all I know from more than half of my life and I’m scared to loose the control.
Do you have same experiences or tips?
Sorry again :(

Please Be Mindful When Discussing Weight Gain and This Medication

Hi!
I’ve come across several comments from people saying that this medication definitely causes excessive weight gain.
Without wanting to invalidate anyone’s personal experience, could we try to be a bit more careful and speak only from our own experience?
There are people with eating disorders who need to take this medication, and reading such absolute statements can be really harmful, both mentally and physically.
Thank you and sorry!

Hi!
I’d love to find some book titles featuring female characters in larger bodies compared to the usual narratives, and/or characters who have a healthy relationship with food or a love for it.

Hi,
Someone assumed duloxetine/cymbalta like antidepressant?
I'm so afraid to take it because I've heard terrible things about and I know weight can't have this impact in the decision but I still have a disorder and I can't ignore it.

Thanks and sorry for my english!

Hi!

I was wondering if it has taken anyone more than 3 weeks to notice any benefits.

I know it’s subjective, but I’d still really appreciate hearing some personal experiences about it.

Thank you so much!

Hi!

I’ll start by saying that I’ve been struggling with eating disorders and anorexia for years, and I’ve also been on antidepressants for a long time without ever really finding the right one.

I know the internet can be full of horror stories, but I’m currently taking duloxetine and I’ve been told to increase my dose from 30 mg to 60 mg.

Is weight gain common with this medication?

I’ve read some pretty scary things, and while I know that weight gain shouldn’t be a deterrent, I’d still like to be as informed as possible.

Thank you, and sorry for the question!
