Mensen stemmen rechts en gaan daarna janken dat Nederland niet leefbaar is en dat de overheid niet helpt. Ze weten niet eens waar rechts voor staat. Het enige waar hun brein aan kan denken, is dat rechts de migratie vermindert.

Dankzij rechts wordt het land steeds verder verkankerd. Rechtse partijen hebben jarenlang ingezet op marktwerking en een kleinere rol van de overheid. De marktwerking in de zorg. De liberalisering van de energiemarkt. Het beleid waarbij woningcorporaties meer als zelfstandige ondernemingen zijn gaan functioneren. Steeds meer werd aan de markt overgelaten, terwijl de overheid zich terugtrok. Dankzij rechts hebben de woningcorporaties ook lekker hun eigen gang kunnen gaan. Nu is het natuurlijk totaal niet kostbaar om een woning te zoeken. De hoge accijnzen, prijzen van supermarkten, alles is dankzij rechts.

"Maar dankzij rechts worden woningen in mijn buurt gebouwd." Tering fijn bro, maar jij doet als starter niet mee. De woningmarkt is een eliteclub geworden voor mensen die al iets bezitten. Heb je een woning om te verkopen, dan kun je doorstromen naar de mooie nieuwe woningen in jouw buurt. Heb je als starter helemaal niets, dan mag je lekker achteraan aansluiten en hopen dat je in de verkrachtte woning van oom Henk in een dorp met vijf bewoners mag wonen. En dat is precies het soort woningmarkt dat jarenlang rechts beleid heeft gecreëerd.

Als die mensen zo graag Nederland willen verkankeren, mogen ze het blijven doen. Dit was gewoon even een rant.

I am tired of Aras trying to handle everything by himself. He is only 17 years old yet he is somehow beating up heavily built mafia guys on his own. He did not even listen to the mechanic about calling the police first to organize a raid and get the car back. Never listening to anyone and always taking his own actions.

Aras just keeps attracting every possible problem toward himself and it is becoming frustrating to watch. The writers also need to stop portraying Leyla as such a complaining braindead character whose life is all about Aras. I mean Aras is literally fighting two guys and she is still demanding an answer from him. How many episodes has she been acting like this? She had ZERO character development so far. If I were the actress, I would complain so hard for making me portray this way.

Also the fact that Aras refuses to tell anyone anything is also becoming extremely annoying. He shouldn't keep being this secretive all the time. Ozlem asks why he went to Sebnem's house and he says nothing. Leyla asks what his issue with Serhat is and he avoids the question. Baris asked him the same thing in previous episodes and he still did not explain anything. The people closest to him know nothing, while Sebnem, Hakan and Teoman already know what is happening. If Aras would simply explain the situation, the story could actually move forward, but instead he keeps everything to himself.

Teoman is an issue as well. One episode, you see some development inside him. The next episode, we literally see the episode 1 Teoman again. The screenwriters love giving him bipolarism.

The story is moving so slowly that I am starting to lose interest in the series. Every episode is packed with action, every episode Aras is searching for his brother, but somehow nothing meaningful changes and there are no real results. Please...

More like when it comes to their behavior towards each other.

So, I've just watched the latest episode of Daha 17, and I noticed that there were barely any scenes between Aras and Teoman. Basically, out of the 2 hours 20 minute episode, their interactions totalled 5 minutes at most. At least I'm grateful that Aras is still focused on searching for his brother, while Teoman has lost focus and is now more interested in Deniz. I was much happier when Teoman was more obsessed with Aras. The scenes where Teoman was helping Aras to search for his brother were so amazing. Yet, now it kind of feels like that dynamic has been lost. And I wonder if Teoman will still be the first one to find out the truth...

This post is just a rant against the screenwriter. How can you make an episode that's almost 2 hours and 30 minutes long, yet still fail to give Aras and Teoman more screen time together? Isn't that supposed to be the main plot?
