What are the biggest projects transforming India right now?

I'm interested in learning about major projects across India whether they're led by the central government, state governments, or private companies.

I'm looking for projects that could have a significant impact on the country's future, such as infrastructure, manufacturing, transportation, energy, technology, urban development, or anything else on a large scale.

Basically, I just want to know what's being built and where it's happening.

I tried asking on Ask India, But the people there don't seem capable of answering rationally. I'm hoping for more objective answers here.

From my research so far, I've come across semiconductor projects,

the Dedicated Freight Corridors, Sagarmala, Bharatmala, GIFT City, Dholera, Amaravati, KWIN City, the Andaman Nicobar development plans, and major investments from Japan.

Please enlighten me if I've missed any.

Why do young people from X religion seem to be becoming more openly religious, while those from Y and Z religions appear to be becoming less religious?

I belong to the so called Gen Z generation. Growing up, religion always felt like something very personal. At least in my circle, openly posting religious quotes, putting up religious Instagram stories or WhatsApp statuses, or wearing religious symbols felt... embarrassing. I still feel that way. I don't wear anything related to my religion in public because, somewhere in my mind, it feels like I'd get the not cool badge if I did.

But when I look at young people from X religion many of my friends proudly post religious content on Instagram and WhatsApp. They naturally use religious phrases while talking, and they seem completely comfortable expressing their faith in public.

When they do that, it surprises me not because I dislike it, but because it makes me wonder why they can do it so confidently while I feel awkward doing the same.

I'm also not sure if it's always out of devotion, because I've seen many people openly display their religion while also doing things that their own religion considers sinful. Another thing I've noticed is that many young people from X religion strongly support celebrities, businesses, restaurants, and shops if they're from their own religion, if you ask them they are not even really familiar with their work.

They seem to prioritize their own community in many aspects of life. I could understand this if it were mostly older people, but what surprises me is that these are people my own age. I'm not trying to criticize anyone or start an argument. I'm genuinely curious about why this shift is happening.

Why does it feel like young people from X religion are becoming more openly religious, while those from Y and Z religions seem to be moving in the opposite direction?

PLEASE DON'T ASK ME WHICH RELIGIONS X, Y, AND Z REPRESENT. I'D RATHER NOT MENTION THAT. IF THIS IS RELATABLE, I'M PRETTY SURE PEOPLE WILL EASILY FIGURE OUT WHICH IS WHICH.

I'm craving something like Kdramas, but Indian. Are there any good upcoming shows?

I'm talking about something that's plot driven, with extremely good looking leads, amazing chemistry, strong acting, and a short runtime maybe around 10 - 20 episodes. It would be great to see new faces instead of the same actors we see everywhere. Fresh talent would make it feel a lot more refreshing.

I know Indian TV produces a lot of dramas, but honestly, I'm not a fan of how they often make the characters unrealistically dumb or impossible to relate to. 😭

Just something cool, cinematic, and absolutely swoon worthy. A proper rom com with a happy ending not overly dramatic, not a tearjerker, and not built around tragedy.

No random song and dance sequences either. Just a beautiful OST. Indian TV has always been great at background scores, and it'd be amazing to have that paired with a modern, binge worthy drama.

Almost every country is doing this now the US, the UK, Korea, China, the Philippines, Indonesia, even our neighbors. India used to make really memorable romance dramas too, but somewhere along the way, that kind of storytelling seems to have faded.

Please, someone make more high quality Indian dramas. I want to open Netflix or Viki someday and have a whole collection of Indian rom coms to binge.

Does anyone else want this, or is it just me? :(

Did everyone here know these two acted together in a very intimate BL? 😩

Long story short... I watch so many Kdramas that every now and then I end up developing the biggest crush on an actor 😂 And when I say big I mean BIG.

The two crushes that have lasted the longest for me are Lee Je Hoon and Yeon Woo Jin.

I recently binge watched all the seasons of Taxi Driver and genuinely couldn't get Lee Je Hoon out of my head. I ended up watching all his interviews, variety show appearances basically everything. 😭

Then more recently I watched My Shy Boss, and I completely fell for Yeon Woo Jin too. He's so so good.

They're both incredibly versatile actors, and the little details they bring to every role are just amazing.

So while I was looking up both of them, I found out they actually acted together in a BL called Just Friends? I looked up a bit about it and then discovered it has some very intimate scenes... like OMG. 😭 The kiss scene is crazy. They are literally eating each other.

I'm actually so excited to watch it now. 🌝🌝

What a pleasant surprise. 😩

Movie name : Just Friends?

Why Is There So Much Outrage When the Victim Is a Man, but It's Treated as Normal When the Victim Is a Woman?

I'm sad that I even have to write something like this.

Every time a man is the victim of a crime committed by a woman, the outrage is overwhelming. Just look at that bus incident.

I genuinely feel for the victim, and I hope his family finds peace.

But what disappoints me is how quickly people start blaming feminism. Do these people even know what feminism actually is?

I haven't seen the same level of outrage when a child is brutally raped or when women are victims of horrific crimes. People barely seem to care because it's become normal news.

Isn't that exactly why so many women rely on feminism? Because, too often, it feels like women only have each other.

The same society that made such a huge fuss over that incident barely bats an eye when women are victims of violent crimes.

Very disappointing indeed.

The scariest part is that women are still ready to sacrifice our careers, our bodies, and our happiness for the very same society that doesn't even seem to care about us.

Can we bring back binod and spam those racist posts

Please take your time and read this to the very end.

I hope most people here realize that there is a deliberate effort by certain individuals, groups, and even countries to spread hatred against India, and in some cases, people are being paid to do it.

You've probably noticed bots posting the same comments under almost every post related to India.

If you open Instagram reels related to India, the top comments are frequently filled with the same hateful spam.

Maybe counter spamming it will help, although I know that any interaction can also increase their reach.

Even if we ignore them, many of these posts still go viral. For example, on TikTok, some anti India content gets over 100 million views despite very little engagement from Indians themselves.

There are also Instagram accounts pretending to be "Indian uncles" or other Indian personas, seemingly created to troll, stalk, mock, or shame Indians.

If we don't push back against misinformation and organized hate today, it may become much harder to deal with later.

What do you think? Is this a dumb idea?

I don't think this is just simple hatred. Its impact is much bigger than most people realize.

When an entire country or group of people is constantly mocked, stereotyped, or dehumanized online, it slowly erodes their credibility in the eyes of others.

For example, if a war, conflict, or major international issue arises, many people may already be conditioned to dismiss our perspective before even hearing it. They won't see us as individuals with valid concerns they'll see us through the lens of the stereotypes they've been exposed to for years.

Maybe that's exactly the goal not just to spread hate, but to influence how people perceive us so that when our side of the story matters, fewer people are willing to listen.

Why Isn't There More Outrage About Tax Evasion and Black Money?

Seriously, go through Instagram comments whenever this topic comes up. You'll find people openly bragging about it as if it's some clever business strategy.

Meanwhile, salaried employees have every rupee they earn tracked. Taxes are deducted before the money even reaches their bank accounts.

Defense, public healthcare, government schools, pensions, infrastructure, welfare schemes, and public transport all of these run on tax revenue.

And who ends up paying for everything? Honest taxpayers.

I have no idea why this is so normalized, or why people who live honestly are considered stupid in this society.

You can't keep enjoying benefits funded by honest salaried workers while hiding part of your income to avoid taxes.

How pathetic is that?

"Kerala Not India"

Lately, I've been seeing the phrase "Kerala, not India" being used more and more online. Honestly, I don't understand what people hope to achieve with it.

I feel that some people are deliberately trying to distance Kerala from its Indian identity.

India is not a political party. India is not BJP. India is not Congress. India is far bigger than whichever government happens to be in power.

India is a civilization that stretches back thousands of years. It is a land that has survived invasions, colonialism, partition, famines, and countless challenges while preserving an extraordinary cultural continuity.

If you have an ulterior motive behind repeatedly saying "Kerala, not India," understand that people are not blind to it. Everyone can clearly see what you're trying to push, and no matter how often you repeat it, you are never, NEVER, going to achieve it.

Keep questioning the government. Question racism, including racist behavior toward Keralites. Question those who mock or shame Kerala. Question everything that deserves to be questioned.

But remember, India does not belong to any one group, region, or ideology. India belongs to every Indian.

Let me add

if it's really "Kerala, not India," are we supposed to stop working, studying, and building our lives in other states too?

You can'tenjoy the opportunities that come from being part of India while rejecting the people who make up India.

Criticism is fair, prejudice is not.

Thank you for reading my rant. I just wanted to let it out.
