What's the best teaching another woman has offered to you?
Mine is: Call the guy to your place instead of going to his. There won't be hidden cameras.
Victim vs Perpetual Victim: Where does the line blur in women's personality?
There are many factors that work against women. More often than not, we're curbed by external issues. It's important to acknowledge them.
But when, do you think, is it time to focus inward and call yourself out for being a perpetual victim? Because surely there must be instances where we're responsible for our own problems.
Watched Animal again because I didn't remember anything. Big mistake. Huge!
It's soooooo bad and cringe. The characters, the dialogues, the fake machismo. Everything is so misogynistic. It's not even good filmmaking. Like I can at least give Kabir Singh a pass just because they all committed to being assholes in it.
My primary motivation for watching Animal again was because too many people compared it to Dhurandhar. I wanted to see it for myself.
I'm sorry, Dhurandhar might be Aditya Dhar's personal propaganda flick but it's not stupid. It's got someone of the best Indian music in the recent years and the camera work and acting are really good.
Dhurandhar also doesn't sexualise women and the female characters don't just exist to support the male characters.
WHY DID WE EVER WATCH ANIMAL? The box office numbers show that we all collectively left our brains at home for this one.
Vanga sucks and has no clue how romantic or traumatic parent-child relationships work. Because ew!
Mandatory disclaimer: This is not a Dhurandhar fan post. I am incapable of fangirling 😂

Interview tricks. I find these questions very interesting.
Feminist (he/him) users on this sub. This one's for you.
Stop invalidating posts here. It's annoying that so many of you call yourself feminists but refuse to recognise how poorly your kind treats women.
No, it's not a gender war. Any man who empathises with women's issues and is a feminist would fight with women, rather than considering our problems as a personal attack on them.
It's not about you. Feminism isn't for men. It's for women. Women's rights, women's issues, women's growth and development. It always has been and always will be.
Your job as feminists is to support us. You benefitting from feminism is a by-product because when patriarchy goes away, your problems will also go away with it. But you're not the focal point of this ideology.
And it's stupid that you keep asking us to coddle you. You say, "It's not all men, only some men." NO, it's more men than some. It's enough men to terrorise every woman's existence.
Every single woman on this planet fears men. That's 4 billion women.
STOP INVALIDATING. STOP IT, GET SOME HELP.
Radhika Apte's acting masterclass in Lust Stories
She is spot on with her character. You can feel that she doesn't believe in the story her husband has spinned to her and that she's forcing herself to accept it. We can see how scattered her brain is trying to accept a painful thing. I love her in this scene.
Priyanka Chopra's iconic roles. How would you rank them?
Kamil was right about this
During the couple's mixer at the bar, Kamil tells Julia that she's mad at him all the time and he doesn't know why.
He was so bang on about it. I've noticed this in people who are used to seeking attention that they're always mad about something and they never communicate. Julia comes off as one of those people.
He was totally right about this one thing. Also, I don't see any reason to hate Kamil. The cheating thing is a grey area. I'm really glad he didn't end up with Julia.
I've found a new way to deal with creeps. Then I block them immediately after.
Lmao he deleted his message. I love being a woman!
Update: he deleted his account 😂😭
Told the nurse that my pain was unbearable. This is what she wrote in my pain assessment form. I am a woman.
Medical misogyny is really something, isn't it?
