I implemented Linked List in Python from scratch!

Hello Folks!

So It's been a while since my last post (https://www.reddit.com/r/PythonLearning/s/q3vpZ80vKO)

After that I learned the basics of OOPs from this video -> https://youtu.be/JeznW\\\\\\\_7DlB0?si=u-h2gsdGSv0ubKf1

Going forward I studied about the fundamental working of Linked List from GFG's website and Stack Overflow

Then today I finally tried implementing it (Tried doing it all on a single day out of excitement but it took way longer than I expected and now i am completely drained of energy 😅)

Finally I asked AI to review my code

As per it there's a minor edge case I missed in the reverse method

There also are a few optimizations

But more or less I am happy

Would be back with Doubly Linked List the next time!

Dsa or Django?

I am fairly new into programming. So I am familiar with the basics of python. Have made some terminal based projects as well. Started dsa concepts yesterday but it is boring me out. I do plan on learning both but is it a good idea to get some real experience with django and web projects first? (I have knowledge of html, css and little bit js)

Also, I am in my first year of graduation so time is not a concern!

Is Ranchi safe to visit right now?

I actually have some work there but seeing video footages from there I am having second thoughts. Is it safe for normal public as of now?

I wrote my first ever Python program!

So upon recommendations from people here I started watching Code With Mosh's Python tutorial (The 2 hour one) around 3 days ago. I finished it yesterday. Didn't really wanted to get stuck in tutorial hell so I simply asked AI to give me a problem statement (only the problem statement and not the code or logic) to work on. So here am I with my first ever program. It's nothing much and even I could see areas for improvement right now but I am proud.

On to the more complex topics. I appreciate the help and support from the community!

Good resource for starting off?

I am not exactly a complete beginner in programming itself. Just want to learn the basic syntax and workflow in Python!

What did I do wrong here?

I am good friends with this girl (I felt I was but maybe not). We know each other since jan of this year. So yesterday we were having a normal chat and I shared a meme about a guy farting because he ate beans. She said "ew". I replied with Why are you doing "ew"? Did you had beans too? Note that this obviously isn't the first time we had joked around with each other. And this was when things went south. She started saying that I sexualized her or something. I was really astonished with her reaction but thought maybe she had different boundaries. So we came to a conclusion that we won't get too personal with each other's stuff. I honestly was hurt so I didn't texted her today. Then suddenly she messaged me a while back. We were talking normally on certain topics and out of the blue she started hating on her father suddenly. I simply didn't wanted to push the boundary we had set and replied that I don't wanna comment on your personal stuff. Now she started blaming me saying that I should be consoling her when she is vulnerable. Like wtf? I don't understand what is this behaviour. Help me understand ladies!

Looking for a Python Study Partner for accountability

I have selected some resources after some research (obviously flexible) and this is the order I will be following for learning the various topics:

  1. Basic Syntax

  2. OOPs

  3. Memory Architecture

  4. DSA

  5. Django (Backend development)

We can make projects along the way for practical learning. Also, Timezone or gender doesn't matter!

Let's learn Java + DSA together!

I am thinking of using the Kunal Kushwaha playlist on YouTube. I know it isn't complete and a few advanced topics are missing. We can pick a different teacher for that I guess but as per my research it's definitely the best playlist for Java. Timing or experience or gender doesn't matter. Just need a partner!

Need someone to study C++ and DSA with (Would be following love babbar's playlist)

So I am in my final year right now and it's pretty difficult to stay consistent especially when you are on your own. Most of my batchmates don't really care about placements and so I am looking for someone here!
