24M, Family stuck between paying ₹23L security amount or buying our own house – need guidance

Hi everyone,

I'm 24M from Delhi and I'm looking for some practical advice regarding my family's housing situation.

Family Background

  • Me (24M) – ₹35,000/month salary
  • Sister (27F) – ₹55,000/month salary
  • Father – Auto driver, earns around ₹15,000–20,000/month
  • Mother – Homemaker
  • Younger brother – Currently searching for a job
  • Younger brother – Still in school

Combined family savings are around ₹5 lakh.

Current Property Situation

We own the 2nd and 3rd floors of a house in East Delhi.

To construct the house earlier, our family had taken money through a security/deposit arrangement and currently:

  • One floor is given on a security amount of ₹8 lakh + ₹5,000 monthly rent
  • Another floor is given on a security amount of ₹15 lakh

So, in total, we have to return approximately ₹23 lakh if we want to take back possession of both floors.

Currently, we ourselves live in a rented house.

Monthly contributions:

  • I contribute around ₹10,000
  • My sister contributes around ₹10,000 which mainly goes towards rent, earlier she purchased a car and pays around ₹20,000 monthly as EMI.
  • My father's income mostly covers household expenses

Major Concerns

  1. We want to purchase or move into a house of our own.
  2. We also need to think about my sister's marriage in the coming years.
  3. We are worried about taking a very large financial burden.
  4. We are a family of 6, so space is important. Ideally, we don't want to end up in a small 2BHK where everyone has to compromise significantly.

Options We Are Considering

Option 1
Take a loan of ₹23 lakh, return the security amount, regain possession of both floors, and then gradually repay the loan.

Option 2
Sell both floors, return the ₹23 lakh security amount, and buy another property probably 3 BHK with the remaining money, or a Independent / Freehold House by putting in some money which will probably come off from a loan.

Option 3
Sell one floor, return the security amount, continue living using the remaining available funds as the security amount in a 3 BHK and left with 1 Floor and that security amount.

Option 4
We purchase a 2 BHK by selling off one of our floor and return the security amount.

Questions

  • Which option seems financially most sensible?
  • Is taking a ₹23 lakh loan justified in our situation?
  • Would selling part of the property be a mistake considering Delhi real estate appreciation?
  • How should we balance housing needs with upcoming expenses like my sister's marriage?
  • Are we missing any better option?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. We are quite stressed and want to avoid making a decision that hurts our family's long-term financial stability.

M24 Need advice for styling and maintaining naturally wavy hair (2B/2C, low porosity)

I’m currently growing out my hair and trying to learn how to properly take care of my natural waves.

Current routine: -Shampoo only -Air dry -No conditioner -No styling products

After drying, my hair becomes fluffy, frizzy, and loses definition very quickly. I’ve never really used hair products before, so I’m looking for a simple beginner-friendly routine that helps with definition and control without making my hair feel heavy. I’m also noticing frequent hair fall recently and feel like my hair growth has slowed down.

Would appreciate advice on: -Shampoo & conditioner recommendations -Lightweight styling products for beginners -Reducing frizz Better drying methods -Basic routine for 2B/2C wavy hair

Any beginner-friendly tips would really help. Thanks!

I have no idea what my hair type is!!! I always feel like I'm doing something wrong, thts making it look bad. I'm currently growing out my hairs.

I’m currently growing my hair out and honestly I have no idea what my actual hair type is 😭

Sometimes it looks wavy, sometimes curly, and after combing it gets super fluffy and loses definition. The “before combing” vs “after combing” difference is huge for me. I also feel like I’m probably doing something wrong because my hair never looks as good as I want it to.

I attached a few photos in different lighting/states (before combing, after combing, side/front angles, etc.) because I’m hoping that helps identify what my hair actually looks like naturally.

Current situation:

  • Growing it out for the first time
  • Don’t really have a proper routine
  • Mostly just shampoo + random combing
  • Hair gets frizzy/puffy pretty easily
  • I genuinely don’t know if I should treat it like straight, wavy, or curly hair

What does my hair type look like to you guys?
And what would be a good beginner routine/products to try for hair like this?

Any advice is appreciated 🙏

(Also sorry if this is a dumb question, I’m completely new to actually taking care of my hair properly lol)

Lately I’ve been seeing AI terms everywhere — LLMs, Generative AI, prompts, MCP, agents, models… and honestly, I’m just tired of pretending I understand them.

Like I get the surface level idea, but if someone asks me anything even slightly deeper, I go blank. At work, in discussions, people casually talk about using AI in projects and I just feel completely left behind.

I even tried watching a few videos but it didn’t really click for me.

What I’m looking for, is a clear understanding of what to learn first, then next. Any courses on YouTube, Udemy, Anywhere you suggest. What should I actually build first as a project?
How much coding is really required?

Basically, if you were starting from 0 again in today’s AI hype, how would you do it?

Would really appreciate some honest guidance.
