324/ 330 SC on Patek 5167a vs Twenty~4 7300

Does anyone know the exact differences between the movements used in the Aquanaut 5167A and the automatic Twenty~4 7300?

Depending on the production year, both references appear to use either the caliber 324 S C or the newer 26‑330 S C. I often hear that the movement is “finished specifically for the reference,” but I’m trying to understand what that actually means.

Are there any differences in movement components or construction? Rotor design, material, engraving, or decoration? Bridges, plates, finishing, or movement dimensions? Regulation or accuracy standards? Date-wheel position or other reference-specific modifications? Interchangeability between the two references

Or are they mechanically the exact same caliber, with the only meaningful differences being cosmetic details such as the rotor engraving?

Wondering why one is such a fan favorite while the other one sits on a shelf, when they both carry the same movements.

[Collection] The collection so far

I genuinely love this collection. It feels like it has a watch for every occasion I realistically have. I’ve thought about adding a dress watch, but my lifestyle just isn’t very dressy, so I don’t think it’d get much wrist time. Happy with where it’s at.

Is it distasteful to ask guests at a bridal shower to pay for their own alcoholic drinks? *Edit with proper info*

My sister-in-law (the maid of honor) and the mother of the bride are hosting the bridal shower and covering all of the costs for the event. It will be at a restaurant that is open to public. Would be a formal setting. They’re paying for the food, desserts, and all non-alcoholic drinks (soft drinks, coffee, tea, etc.) through a per person package that the restaurant offers.

The only thing guests would have to pay for themselves is if they choose to order alcoholic beverages from the restaurant.

Some people have told me that’s perfectly reasonable since alcohol is optional, while others think hosts should cover everything if they’re inviting people. It will be hosted during brunch time Noon-2 PM.

What’s the general consensus? Is it considered distasteful to have guests pay only for their own alcohol, or is that acceptable etiquette these days?

$120k total credit limit spread across multiple cards and trying to figure out what the next move is. Should I leave everything alone, close anything, request increases, or product changes?

I don’t really use my Apple Card ($3,500 limit), FourLeaf FCU ($500 limit but I’ve had it open for about 10 years so I keep it for history), or my U.S. Bank Platinum ($500 limit). One of my Capital One Savor cards only has a $1,000 limit. Everything else has pretty healthy limits. I’m also currently taking advantage of the 0% promos on my Bank of America and Citi cards.

Not trying to collect cards anymore; just trying to make my credit profile stronger, cleaner, and better positioned long term. If opening another for better benefits to swap would be better I could do that as well. Curious what you guys would do from here.

[Strap Review] APBANDS, HORRIBLE COMPANY; Defective Product Returned, One Month Waiting for Refund and they stopped replying AFTER they received my product. No money; no product; no response

Bought defective straps from APBANDS and followed their return process using the label they provided. Tracking shows they received the return weeks ago.

It’s now been almost a month, multiple emails later, and I’ve received no response and no refund.

Very disappointing customer service. I expected communication and resolution; not silence after they received the product back.

If this isn’t resolved soon, I’ll be forced to file a chargeback.
