Is chemistry actually really strong?

I never did anything with it other than making pheromone flasks and the tincture for getting a Tareccary, but i’m dabbling in it now that I beat the game and a lot of the tinctures and coatings and flasks seem really really good. It almost makes me want to replay the game again to take full advantage of how awesome this system is

Is there any item I can drop/place in a doorway that’s unbreakable?

I just wanna know if I can cheese the defense of my base by clogging up the pathway and making it impassable by the ai lol

What gear should I be using to fight Gatekeepers?

I’ve progressed to Shadowgate already but I still feel like Gatekeepers whoop my ass. I’m usually just hiding behind my Tareccary and hoping they don’t shoot me. I’m running with two Hex armor pieces and two Exor armor pieces, but I still get killed super quick. Maybe I should go full Exor? I also feel like my weapons went from kicking ass to being mediocre instantly. The laser katana loses about half its durability fighting just one mystagogue. I’m scared to raid the base in Shadowgate because I can tell i’m going to die at least a couple times.

Am I crazy for thinking these games feel awful on controller?

I got the bundle for all the modern games on sale, as i’ve seen clips of them online before and decided to play them for myself. But i’ve had a miserable time enjoying this game on controller. Maybe it’s because I play a lot of competitive shooters where I like to have perfect settings and aim, but I genuinely feel like a geriatric old man trying to pilot my character. The deadzones are massive so you can’t micro adjust, there’s awful smoothing and acceleration that makes turning feel like using a pirate ship wheel, and of course the FoV is not pleasant.

I don’t think i’ve ever had more trouble just looking around and aiming in a game before like I am in these games. I’m contemplating turning the difficulty down just because I can’t fucking play it well enough to properly fight. I’m sitting behind a wall 90% of the time trying to line myself up before shooting. I thought about buying a damn mnk emulator for Xbox so I could use that.

I’m not saying this to say the games are bad, they’re probably fun as hell on pc. But were the console versions just not as cared for? Should I just crank the difficulty down so I can focus on the story instead?

Going against the same tank who rolled me, 3 times

This seems to only be a problem on console overwatch, where you’ll face the same person/people multiple games in a row. I can’t imagine the player count is this low, are there only like 15 people playing quickplay console pool at any given time? Is skill based match making in quickplay? What is the reason for this to happen every single day?

What rotation do I do with Yangyang XL, Mortefi, and Verina?

I’m still learning the combat system jn this game, i’m planning to pull for Suisui but this is what I have for now. Is there like a simple idea behind what you’re supposed to do in your teams? Or does every team function differently?

Do I just pray to god I get Variation someday?

I know it’s bad practice to use astrites on standard pulls as with any gacha, but how exactly am I meant to get Variation? Just wait for me to happen upon 10 standard pulls again and hope I get Variation that time? Why did the best 4 star support rectifier have to be such a pain to try and get </3 im gonna lose my mind

Could anyone guess when Kuro might fix the xbox version?

What’s the usual wait time between big updates for this game? Xbox hasn’t had shadows in the game or really any graphical options since its launch on the 9th, are they waiting until next version maybe? Is that when they always do big updates?

How did Danjin become the “solo character”?

I’ve seen a lot of videos of people doing things with just Danjin and no teammates, and honestly it looks fun! But how did it start? Is it known? Is she just a really fluid character for combat? Or has it just become a meme?

Is Yangyang Xuanling perform well f2p? Or should I pull Luuk?

I’m completely new and I know that generally new = better in this game. But can YYXL do well with just mortefi and verina? Or does Luuk with Sanhua and Verina do better? I like both characters design wise, but i’m stuck on who would help me more

Do enemies take more time to kill/are tankier in this game compared to Genshin?

I just want to make sure i’m not super weak or anything, I can kill basic enemies in 1-2 basic attack chains with havoc rover. In genshin, I kinda just use the skill of a character and enemies die from it. Is this just because i’m early game or does combat usually take longer here? It is pretty combo focused seemingly, which is fun

Who would be the most valuable between Augusta, Iuno, or Phrolova?

I’m completely new to the game, Verina being my only 5 star. I’ve been running Havoc Rover, Senhua, and Verina so far. Who of these three would help me the most throughout the game? I’m unsure if i’ll be able to pull their signatures in time in the new voyage thing. I was thinking about a main dps, but I heard Iuno can kinda do a lot of things as well? I’m very unsure, and I hate spending money on gacha games so this choice is important to me lol

Is there a “Neuvillette” of Wuthering Waves?

A character that’s simple and straightforward to use, f2p friendly, and universally strong pretty much anywhere? He was the main reason I stuck with genshin for so long, i’d love another character that could carry me in their arms like that

New player, wondering if I can get both 5 stars I want in about 26 days?

I just started a few days ago, and i’m pulling for Phrolova and her signature in the new voyage banner! I’m just curious if a month is enough time to get both of them before it goes away for me? I’ve already got Danjin and I know i’ll get havoc rover soon :) thanks!
