At my goal weight, but this is where it always goes wrong...

I set myself a reasonable goal of having a BMI of 25, which puts me at 12 stone. After a year and 4 months, I've finally reached it! But maintenance is always where things start to go wrong for me.

In the past, I've done Slimming World and Weight Watchers. Both were relatively easy but neither stuck once I'd reached goal. Both times, I ended up gaining even more than my starting weight.

I started Mounjaro because my health has deteriorated a lot and I'm in a position where I really can't do any exercise besides the minimal walking that I do at work, when food shopping, etc. I know that the lack of exercise doesn't help the maintenance either, so this has me even more worried about my future prospects.

At this point, I feel like I need to stay on Mounjaro. I think coming off of it would mean making the same mistake a third time, which would make me an idiot lol. However, I'm only on 3.75mg at the moment due to having terrible side effects on 5mg and 2.5mg not really working anymore.

Does it seem reasonable to stay on 3.75mg for now? I wouldn't be upset if I did lose more weight tbh, since I'm only just in the healthy BMI bracket. I don't know if I want to set another lower goal or just keep on as I am and see what happens. Just feeling a bit lost, I suppose! Let me know your thoughts and experiences :)

I didn't consider that people would stand in the seating area of a concert 🙈

Learning about autism after being diagnosed last year also means learning that I take things incredibly literally.

I wanted to attend a concert at the O2 in London, which I knew would be hell for my brain and body because I have have multiple chronic illnesses, plus the usual social tax and overwhelm.

I usually get accessible seating in smaller venues but the O2 insists on having an Access card, which I didn't think I would be eligible for since I don't get any of the benefits that they list on their website.

(Apparently, you can get a card without benefits, so there's another thing I took literally that I apparently didn't need to! I have an Access card now yay.)

Anyway, I booked seated tickets and I was like this is fine, I can just about manage to walk there, sit down, and it'll all be good.

And it was all good, until the artist came on, everyone stood up, and I couldn't see shit 😂 The whole time, I kept thinking how stupid I was for thinking that people would stay seated in the seated section. Obviously people would want to dance!

So yeah, I have my Access card now and I will definitely be aiming for the accessible tickets if I want to go again. Now I need to spend the next week hibernating to recover.

Cafe Gray opens at 10am but I'm not getting to London until 3pm 😭

Is it safe to say that I'll just completely miss out on this? It doesn't say what time it closes but if it's going to be super busy then idk about that either.

I'm driving 2 hours to get there and was just planning to arrive at 3pm because that's when I can check into my Airbnb.

What was it like in other locations? Super busy and only open for a short amount of time?

I got a letter in my deadname yesterday to inform me that TSB are merging with Santander. Tbh I didn't know that I had a TSB account, but apparently I had one opened for me as a child when I won a poetry competition about saving the turtles. The more you know!

I've completely changed everything nowadays, including having a GRC, so I have no idea how I would go about accessing and ultimately closing the account. Can I just rock up to a TSB bank with my deed poll? The letter doesn't include my account number and I have no idea what it might be 🙈

I stupidly managed to leave 8 weeks between ordering due to taking 2.5mg and 3.75mg out of a 5mg pen (because I get bad side effects some weeks) and having a couple of weeks break for a holiday.

I ordered again on April 30th as I'd literally finished my last pen and hoped that a week would be long enough, since it usually is. But now I've had to submit new photos, plus a photo of the back it my last box. They also rang me a couple of days ago to confirm my weight.

Today is jab day and my order still hasn't shipped. It still says 'under review' for the photo of my box, which I submitted on May 1st.

I know it's my fault for leaving it 8 weeks AND needing it in 1 week, but does anyone know what the waiting time looks like for reviews like this? I'm wondering if I should bug them about it or just call this week a loss and hope I can start again next week.

Hello, I'm hoping someone here is able to provide some reassurance and explain the process for if the worst should happen tomorrow 🙈

Basically, I had a filling in one of my molars since childhood - it was a grey one that was, according to my new dentist, outdated and not good.

Around November 2024, I started getting a horrible taste in my mouth around that area, and it was extremely painful to eat on, brush, etc. The dentist said that the tooth was basically split in half. She redid the filling in white and it looked great, but she admitted that she wasn't sure how long it would last.

The pain and sensitivity lasted for about a year after that, but I was slowly able to eat softer foods on it and brush normally. I've still been conscious of eating hard foods on that side and have basically been in fear of my tooth finally cracking.

Well, for the past week, there hasn't been any pain, but the horrible taste has returned. I have staining around my teeth because I struggle with hygiene (I brush once in the morning and use a water flosser in the shower, but that's only once or twice a week 😭) so I can't really see a crack or anything but I also don't really know what I'm looking for.

I have an appointment tomorrow morning. What will happen if the tooth needs to be pulled out? I really don't want to have a gap in my teeth, but I've heard that having a fake tooth put in can be extremely expensive. What would my options be in this case and what would be recommended?

For money context, the filling last time was £400 which was almost half of my monthly income, but I do have a little bit of savings due to living with my parents, so if it would be worth it to have a fake tooth then I would be interested in doing it. I'm just getting confused reading about the different treatment options and I'm not really sure which ones apply to me.

Thank you in advance 🙏
