Supreme Court now encourages women adultery too?

The #SupremeCourt has raised serious concerns over unregulated private investigators after a husband submitted 92 videos and 237 photographs to allege adultery against his estranged wife in a maintenance dispute.

In Himanshu Chordia v. State of Rajasthan & Anr., the husband relied on Section 125(4) CrPC to contest maintenance. While the Court said his defence must be examined on merits, it questioned how the evidence was collected, whether investigators had legal authority, how private data was stored, and whether electronic material could be manipulated.

The Bench also flagged privacy and surveillance concerns and asked the Ministry of #Law and #Justice and the Law Commission of India to consider a proper regulatory framework for private detective agencies.

If adultery can affect #maintenance, the law must also provide a lawful and practical way to prove it.

Mother and alleged lover arrested in six-year-old girl’s murd€r case

A 6-year-old girl allegedly saw her mother with her lover—and police say that became enough reason to silence her forever.

A six-year-old girl, Srishti, was found in a well in Mehra village under Lahar police station in Bhind, Madhya Pradesh, on June 15. Police investigation into the case led to the arrest of the girl’s mother, Jyoti, and her alleged lover, Ramshankar Sharma.

According to police, Jyoti had gone away with Ramshankar, who was reportedly known to the family. The child had accompanied her mother. Police said the two later stayed in a hut in a village field.

Police allege that Srishti had become aware of the relationship between her mother and Ramshankar and was insisting on returning to her grandparents. Investigators say the accused feared that the child would reveal their relationship to the family and allegedly decided to silence her.

According to the investigation, the child was allegedly ki\\ed on the night of June 5–6, after which her body was disposed of in a nearby well. Her body was recovered on June 15.

Police continued investigating the case and eventually traced Jyoti and Ramshankar in Gwalior. Both were arrested and sent to jail, according to reports. Further legal proceedings are underway.

Don't even ask fro studies otherwise get ready to land in jail?

Such things are happening in far from cities those girls and women know how to use law even against their own father just think if it was someone else.

A many such cases are happening every day. But no system to report.

A 43-year-old tribal daily-wage worker from Ayyappancoil in Idukki, Kerala, named Saji Kuttappan, was acquitted by a Special POCSO Court after spending 18 months in jail.

His minor daughter had falsely accused him of sexual abuse at the instigation of her boyfriend and his mother because the father strongly objected to her relationship and excessive mobile phone use.

The 16-year-old girl grew angry after her father scolded her for spending excessive time on late-night phone and Instagram calls with a local youth and demanded she focus on her studies.

Prompted by the boyfriend's mother, an Anganwadi worker, who suggested filing a complaint, the minor contacted Childline with false allegations that her father had abused her starting at age 12.

Police registered a case under POCSO arresting Saji Kuttappan on September 17, 2024.

Saji remained behind bars for 18 months as courts exercised extreme caution given that the complainant was his own daughter.

His imprisonment left his wife and younger son in severe financial and social distress, forcing his son to drop out of school due to local stigma.

While Saji was imprisoned, the daughter invited her boyfriend to the house at night, where they were caught by the family and neighbors, resulting in a separate police case.

On August 16, 2026, Special Judge G.R. Bilkul of the Idukki Fast Track Special Court acquitted Saji after evidence proved the accusation stemmed purely from the father's opposition to her relationship.

False rape case victim released after 20 years

An Uttar Pradesh man who spent 20 years in prison over a rape case before being pronounced innocent by the Allahabad High Court in January this year, walked of Agra Central Jail on Wednesday evening.

Vishnu Tiwari, now 43 years old, will now go home - a village in UP's Lalitpur district.

Mr Tiwari was arrested and booked for rape and atrocities under the SC/ST Act. Three years later he was convicted of rape by a Lalitpur court and sentenced to 10 years' rigorous imprisonment. He was further convicted under the SC/ST Act and sentenced to life imprisonment.

All sentences were to run concurrently, as per the directions of the trial court.

He had been accused of rape by a woman from his village; she said Mr Tiwari had assaulted her as she was going from her home to work in the fields.

Visuals from Agra Central Jail this evening showed Mr Tiwari walking out of the prison gates with his release order in hand.

Reason:

In the case of Vishnu Tiwari (who spent 20 years in prison before being acquitted by the Allahabad High Court in January 2021), the court determined that the allegations were false and acquitted him based on several key grounds:

Complete Lack of Medical Evidence: The medical examination conducted after the incident found no signs of forcible sexual intercourse, nor was any sperm detected by the examining doctor.

Absence of Physical Injuries: The complainant alleged that the accused gagged her mouth for 10 minutes and thrashed her to the ground. However, the medical report showed no external or internal injuries on her body, which contradicted the claim of physical violence and struggle.

Severe Contradictions in Witness Testimonies: The High Court noted significant contradictions across the statements provided during the examination-in-chief and cross-examinations of all three prosecution witnesses.

Wrongful Evaluation by the Trial Court: Based on the absence of physical proof and the glaring inconsistencies in the testimony, the High Court concluded that the charges were unfounded and that the trial court had wrongly convicted him.

Have I genuinely given this marriage enough chances, or am I overlooking my own blind spots?

I'm a 28-year-old husband. My wife and I have been separated after about six months of marriage. Before deciding whether to continue trying or move toward a mutual divorce, I want honest opinions from people who have experienced difficult marriages.

There were genuine positives in the beginning. She was affectionate, caring, and supportive, and I loved her deeply. That's why I kept trying to save the marriage through communication and counseling instead of giving up.

Over time, however, I experienced a consistent pattern of problems:

  1. She frequently spoke to me disrespectfully despite repeated requests to communicate respectfully.

  2. Arguments rarely reached a resolution. She often shouted, had emotional outbursts, changed the topic, or focused on one or two words I said instead of the main issue.

  3. She rarely accepted responsibility for her mistakes. Instead, they were often justified or explained as a reaction to something I had done, even when I hadn't created the conflict. My mistakes were treated as entirely my responsibility.

  4. She struggled to accept criticism or advice, and difficult conversations often ended in silence, withdrawal, or topic changes.

  5. I often felt emotionally invalidated. My feelings were dismissed while the focus shifted back to hers. I spent a great deal of time reassuring and listening to her, but rarely felt the same support in return.

  6. During conflicts, she repeatedly threatened self-harm, attempted to jump from a balcony, and serious conversations often turned into crisis situations instead of problem-solving.

  7. There was physical aggression. She slapped me once, and when I asked why, she repeatedly slapped herself instead of explaining or apologizing. During emotional outbursts, she also broke her mobile phone twice, broke her spectacles, and threw away her mangalsutra, which later went missing.

  8. She once walked out of the house at night during an argument despite me asking her not to, creating another major crisis.

  9. Household responsibilities became increasingly one-sided. I was working two jobs while trying to manage the home, whereas she frequently said she was too tired and contributed very little. When I raised concerns, she often responded with, "Then give me a divorce," even over relatively small issues.

  10. Her mother never supported our marriage, yet my wife continued sharing almost every marital issue with her and seeking her advice. I felt she found it very difficult to disagree with or stand up to her parents, instead expecting me to adjust.

  11. Even now, after separation, she refuses to meet me privately and insists any discussion must happen only in front of both families. I believe marital issues should first be discussed honestly between husband and wife, and despite repeatedly requesting one private conversation, she has refused.

I'm genuinely looking for balanced opinions, not validation.

My questions are:

1 Based on what I've written, does this marriage sound realistically recoverable?

  1. I'm insisting on counseling but her and her parents are refusing. Am i being reasonable to ask that?

  2. Does it sound like I've already given enough chances, or am I overlooking something important?

  3. If you were in my position, would you get out or work on this?

Misuse of 498a,but why no punishments.?

Everyone understands how 498a is misused but no one wants to punish the women who missed the law.

If the allegations are true, men deserve equal protection under the law too.

The Vinod Kaushik case has sparked a lot of debate online. If the allegations are accurate, it raises serious concerns about what some men can face in a marriage infidelity, false legal accusations, financial loss, damage to reputation, and years of emotional trauma.

Adultery and extramarital affairs can deeply affect families regardless of whether the person involved is a man or a woman. Likewise, if someone files a false complaint, it can have devastating consequences for an innocent person.

The law should protect genuine victims, but it should also ensure that innocent people are not punished through misuse of legal provisions. Justice should be based on evidence, due process, and fairness not gender.

Society often talks about women's rights, which are important. But men's mental health, dignity, property, reputation, and legal rights deserve equal attention. Every person man or woman should be held accountable for their actions.

Equality means equal rights, equal responsibilities, and equal consequences under the law.

How easily to file false POSCO case?

If filing false POSCO case is this easy, why isn't courts ordering police to atleast have basic investigation before filling false cases?

How easy is to file false POSCO case?

This is just a mockery of Indian judiciary and let the court know that filing false cases is that easy.
