I got a cheque for over 5 grand but under 10 from a trust fund/pension plan from an old job that I'm not working anymore.. does this count as income? Would my ow get cut off? I get asked for bank statements every 3 months so I really don't want to be cut off on Ontario works but I want this cheque to be cashed as I could use it to pay a very high hydro bill among other things that I really need to pay(some of my student loans) what do I do?
