I know the OG firmware supported Flashcarts/ Everdrives ect and by the 1st update they were no longer compatible. I've heard that a couple of oddball firmware updates support these still ; what's the most up to date version for compatibility on this?

It's been a while so unfortunately I only remember a few details but,
It was about somebody hiring a hitman on the dark web using bit coin, and somehow the guy he was trying to get killed, posed as a fake hitman, and killed the guy who was trying to kill him. There was a specific part I remember where the fake Hitman asked him how to encrypt his messages
