People who use bluetooth headphones - what do you do between the calls? Do you leave them open, not charging? How much battery they lose over time with that scenario? Or do you close them? What if somebody calls you - do you wait to turn it on and connect until opening?

For last two months, I used USB-C Apple earbuds, and they are much more comfortable than worrying about these. But if you have any suggested product that you would recommend, please shoot.

I bought a bike from Marketplace, checked if it was stolen while buying, a year later got it stolen, reported stolen and police came back and said, it was already reported stolen.

The frame number looks weird, so to decide the number, I talked to my wifi and AI. I think while doing it on a street, I might used the wrong number. Because police told me it was reported stolen like 20 days ago.

Anyway, it's a real person that still posts to social media.

Police told me that they will start a fraud case. And I will inform my insurance - probably to cancel the case as I cannot get insurance for a stolen bike.

I don't care about the money, but I care about the fraud case. Is there anything I should be worried or is this case to defend my rights? I think I can prove that I did these with a good intentions. And who put a new ring lock to a 1000 kr bike and give it with keys to new owner?

No more marketplace for me. Only verified DBA from now on.

I had a indbo insurance for many years from Gjensidige, but never reported a claim.

Last week, our bike was stolen. We bought that bike second hand, 1000 kr, but it was a pure luck, as it was almost new. Then we bought a baby seat, new.

We claimed the insurance, and I put the bank receipt showing I sent someone 1000 kr and the receipt for baby seat 1200 kr.

During the claim they asked if it was a new bike or second hand, I said second hand. They also asked the price of a new one.

Now, I can see, in the early morning, they (I think automatically) approved, and after deducting selv-risiko, they give back the price of a new bike.

This is amazing, and actually "fair" to some extent. But I wonder if there is something wrong. It sounds too good to be true.

Is this also your experience?

Personally, as a civil engineer, I collect a lot of photos in my Notion or Obsidian. I use Heading Levels to annotate the photos, like "Reinforcements" "Wall Construction" etc, and put the relevant photos under that heading.

Now, we want to do it on our company, people collect photos in folders etc, but I don't like that. I haven't talked to IT yet, but inside Office 365, what might be the best way?

I don't think Onenote will be very good with 100 high quality photos.

and so on.

The purpose is to find relevant photos. I organize my notes and photos like this. And i want to do same thing in Office 365.

While I was leaving my company, I have taken *ost and not *pst. I know it's a hard shot, but did any of you see this situation? I cannot find a way to see my old emails using the ost.

I am an engineer and started using Todoist since some time. While I follow the discussion, I think I am missing something.

I am coming from notepads, so I just list things and cross out.

Now, I create tasks without due date. I just need to get them done. To use at least some functionality, I started giving priorities, so with the "All" filter I use as my main screen, they are sorted as per my priorities.

What do you think?

As I am working in a technical field, I was a big fan of NotebookLM, I dumped some books, and asked question when needed. Now I can see I can do same thing with Copilot Notebooks, and I am willing to try as I have a company subscription.

But one thing I didn't understand: Copilot Notebooks popped up in Onenote, that's cool. But, there is zero integration in between them. They used the Onenote as a wrapper for Copilot - you cannot even create a note from the response of Copilot.

What's the logic behind it?

I stopped using it inside Onenote, and keep using Copilot page directly. Maybe I am missing something.

I would like to work inside the daily notes. But, I also collect my notes under individual projects.

Say: Today, I worked on ProjectA and ProjectB. In today's note, I wrote:

'Had a meeting with PM_A, he says we need to finish the ProjectA by Friday.'

'ProjectB invoices are sent. Follow up next week.'

So, I want to collect these notes under either MOCs or other types of links in the notes inside the ProjectA and B folders and notes.

Any idea aside from refactoring from Daily Notes and linking there?

I have an EQB 250 leasing, and I am thinking about buying Xpeng G6 or Mercedes CLA. CLA is second hand, but like new.

We have one child, and seeing CLA's trunk in person, I think it's quite deep, even though there is not much height.

And when I go to the ETFs and filter the accumulating only, why do I only see German stock exchange? Isn't there any ETF in Denmark aside from XACTC25? Are all other index funds are called Dansk investeringsforening?

Disclaimer: I am a civil engineer, so my use-case might be different from many here.
I have moved all my LLM works to Claude excep NotebookLM. I have lowesr Claude subscription which is enough for me to do occasional Python works and LLM questions. One thing I couldn't move is NotebookLM.
How do i use it? I have a specific topic, for the simplicity let's say tunnels. I have maybe 30-40 PDFs, books and papers, and I can ask any questions I have to NotebookLM.
Are there a Claude alternative?
