Silencer 1st shoot underwhelming

Silencer 1st shoot underwhelming

So go ahead and roast away. This is the first time I've shot with a silencer. Glock 45 9mm. Yeah, no idea which silencer it was. That's my bad. It was a rental. Either way it shot consistently about 6" low and a couple inches to the right. Like about 430-5 o'clock.

The recoil lightened up a bit so that was nice. The iron sights were barely visible peeking over the can. That was the best part of the experience honestly.

fire the money it was worth it. G45 rental $15, silencer rental $10, 2 boxes freedom ammo $36. Range fee free this week.

15 yards distance I think.

I can say though, that this experience has me really interested in a silenced 22lr semi auto pistol though!!

Bourbon Chicken Recipe (Food Court Style!)

Ingredients

  • Chicken: Use boneless chicken thighs.
  • Seasoning Blend: Rotisserie chicken seasoning, smoked paprika, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  • Sauce Base: Butter, soy sauce, brown sugar, and hoisin sauce.
  • Aromatics: Fresh ginger and freshly minced garlic (optional).
  • The Signature Element: Bourbon whiskey.

Instructions

  1. Season the Chicken: Coat the raw chicken thighs with the seasoning blend.
  2. Sear: Heat a cast-iron skillet and sear the chicken until about 90% cooked. Remove the chicken from the pan and chop it into smaller pieces.
  3. Create the Sauce: In the same skillet, add butter, soy sauce, brown sugar, and hoisin sauce. If using, add the fresh ginger and minced garlic.
  4. Combine & Glaze: Add the chopped chicken back into the skillet with the sauce.
  5. Finish: Add a few splashes of bourbon to the pan. Let everything cook together for about 20 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and coat the chicken thoroughly.
  6. Serve: Enjoy your bourbon chicken over a bed of white rice.

Battery back up test

Picked up a used "humless generator" backup battery. Charges via multiple connections. It can plug into the wall to charge with a basic computer/monitor cable.

I'm trying to see how long it'll last on a full charge using just my CPAP. I have a heated humidifier and heated hose too. Should be interesting.

Downside is it's pretty heavy. 30lbs?

If the goal wasn't appearance, status, or athletic records—but simply the best body to comfortably experience life for 80–100+ years—I'd design something that looks surprisingly normal.

Hidden gem in Utah county UT

This free paleontology museum was small but had a lot to offer. Very impressed with BYU and it's program.

M14 Haversack bag/backpack

Anyone ever make a military m14 Haversack bag? I'm looking for a pattern. Possibly make it out of leather? Or buy one made of leather? Similar bags to it? Thanks for the help.
