What are the typical plugins a VO actor should have for Audacity? Talking to someone who has very little knowledge when it comes to the Tech side of voice acting. I'm talking mostly just auditions or submitting auditions. I usually just audition and crop the front and back. Not sure if there is anything special or specific I should be doing.

I have a few interviews coming up and I have a hearing loss since birth. I’m not deaf by any means but I wear hearing aids. I can hear without them but my hearing is even better with them. I have more of a loss in my left ear than right ear. Will this potentially affect hiring me?
Hi Everyone! Curious if anyone has dropped their VO agent before. I been freelancing with mine for the last 8 months. At the beginning I got some auditions from them. The last 5 months it’s been crickets and I emailed him my new commercial demo and if he had any feedback. No response. I sent a follow up email 4 weeks later and still nothing. Am I being shelved at this point? I was a referral to him through my theatrical agent.
Most of my pain is in my sternum and front of chest. I use the Backpod and it feels like my sternum is so stiff and it’s so painful when I lay on it. Is this normal? Once I move it around it then it’s fine.

I have a manager who I think is really solid and great. They don't want me self submitting on anything anymore. If I see something on Actors Access, Casting Networks, Backstage I need to e-mail them directly the job postings and they will give me the thumbs up or they will submit on my behalf. I think this is great!! Really shows we are working as a team. I'm conflicted because I don't want to bombard their e-mails throughout the day when stuff comes in that I see. Especially, if it's student films. They are very direct when it comes to this and want no self submissions at all. My agent isn't like this and she told me to loop her in only if I get a callback for something. Anyone else have reps similar to this?
I was curious if others feel the same way as me. I have been taking loads of Voiceover classes. Studying with some great teachers, have a demo, booth set up but I feel like the VO community is the hardest area of acting to break into. Do other actors feel the same? VO doesn’t seem like there is a clear path unlike theatre/on camera. It seems more of a “take this class and take that class” to progress forward.
I’m always hearing that we should create our own work. Has anyone created an animated series? Audio drama? Tired of waiting around for auditions. During downtime what are you doing to stay proactive (besides classes). Are you creating your own work?
Hey everyone! It's been 3 months since I developed this from an ongoing sinus infection/Bronchitis. I'm still coughing and my chest is killing me. When I lay down in bed I feel the pain, wake up PAIN. I stretch my back and my sternum pops and it helps for a little bit. My PCP is usually but told me it takes a long time to get better. He suggested physical therapy. What about seeing a Chiropractor? I'm a performer so, I can't really have this going on. I bought the backpod and use it twice daily but not sure if it's helping. The pain is mostly in my sternum. I just had a heart CT scan and an X-ray and was told everything looks good.
Has anyone got adjusted by a chiropractor before?

Hi everyone! Not sure if this is a thing but I'm looking for someone that is skilled with setting up home networks for in a house. I have a mesh network in my home with a lot of access points throughout but a certain room in my house is constantly dropping internet and I have have a hardwired wire from the main box in the living room all the way to my upstairs. Even when it's hooked up it's still dropping from time to time. I have the fastest Fios so, not sure what the issue is. The room that is dropping is the most important room and internet can't be dropping in that room.
Is it just me or when Link gets hit HARD. This MF just rolls and rolls and rolls. Like how dramatic do you need to be Link? Just get back up and FIGHT. I’m tired of this guy just rolling down a hill for what feels like 30 seconds.
I’m not sure what to do but Home Depot dropped off some outdoor furniture and left the wooden Pallets. Does anyone want them? Home Depot is refusing to come pick it up and Yonkers said we can’t take that as trash. Does anyone need or want a free pallet lol.
