How did this start?!

Brief rundown - I’m a somewhat healthy 38M in NY. I started a new desk job and using a computer and travel to the city for work. Heavy backpack and hutched over probably not the greatest. I don’t work out but I need to

I had a bad cold and at the tail end I was complaining about sternum/chest pain. I started to develop a cough. I feel like it came out of where this pain and discomfort. I went to urgent care two weeks later and they said I have bronchitis but my lungs were clear and they gave me a zpack to clear me up. Okay but I’m still having chest pain I said. I had a virtual with my PCP and automatically said it sounds like Cost. He said that it should go away. It went for a bit and I just need to crack my sternum twice a day. Some days I can’t crack it and it’s just pulled muscle feeling in my chest. How did I get this!!?!

I have a Weber Genesis 2 grill that needs a deep cleaning outside and inside. What products should I be picking up to give it that deep cleaning?

Need help with this idea.

I'm not really sure where to go with this... It's a true story of my childhood so, I'm trying to make a joke out of it but not sure what to do or where to go with it.

I grew up in the 90s.

Back when cable companies let children make terrible financial decisions with their parents money.

I made stupid mistakes.

For few months I kept ordering the playboy channel.

My mother kept wondering why her bill was so high. Months later they told her, “Someone in your house keeps ordering the playboy channel”

My mother looked at me like I was a tiny Hugh Hefner.

My sex education never came from my parents but it came from the cable company.

Third time?!

I just got a Switch 2 and I just started Breath of the Wild for the 3rd time. It looks great and feels great! Only downside it’s been years so, I have no clue what I’m doing or remember. TIME TO EXPLORE!

Maybe it’s me?

I want to give this game another chance I really do! I started playing on Switch 2. I made it to level 17 and the stuttering is just not great. Plus, I hate the fact I’m in battle every few minutes. Maybe I’m spoiled by Pokémon. I’m used to a very linear path and I just don’t know where to go or what to do. The game kept freezing mid way. I may go back to it but I’m hopeful that the second game will be great because the first got a lot praise.

SW Interview Questions!

I just did my one way video interview for Flight attendant on Southwest. I'm not sure if I made a mistake or not. I answered 5 questions but at the end when it was uploading it said "Uploading 8 questions" but I only answered 5. Did I make a mistake somewhere? I didn't answer the test questions at the start for the purpose to check video/mic.

Gypsy rose joke. Help!

I wrote this joke for my stand up class and my teacher didn’t understand it and told me to get rid of it. People in my class had no idea who Gypsy Rose was. Any help to punch it or make it better?

Looking back on my childhood it was a lot like Gypsy Rose.
I thought the doctor's office was an after school program.
Pretty sure my mother has Munchausen by proxy.
Even the Make A Wish Kid was Suspicious

Manager contract advice

I’m an actor based out of NYC and there is a manager that is interested in representing me but is requiring me to sign a POA. I have never done that before and feel uneasy signing that. The wording seems like that she will only handle the checks and can sign on my behalf. Should I run this by an attorney first?

Joke writing FIRST TIME ADVICE

I need some advice on how to craft jokes. I'm an actor and improv artist trying my hand at Stand up. I'm currently enrolled in Rick Crom class in NYC and he is great. I'm not sure if it's my nerves but I'm just writing endless essays about various topics and not sure if it's funny or it really has context for Bits/Set ups/Premise etc etc. Any idea how to write better. I seem to have the set up down but the actual joke isn't flowing naturally for me.

Voiceover Coach question! Potential hot topic

This might be a hot topic but I have studied with multiple coaches throughout the years. Coaches that I trust and Coaches that I hope had good intentions. I believe that some coaches might "string you along" to keep you coming back to them. We always hear to study with a coach and let them tell you when you are ready to do a demo.

At what point do you say to yourself "I think I got everything from this coach. It's time to move on". Then that coach could potentially get offended and make you feel bad for leaving them. How long is "to long" to keep studying with that coach? Example: Let's say you are studying commercial for 5-7 months and that coach says "Still not ready for a demo. We have more to work on" but you feel ready and spent a lot to learn from them. At that point do you change directions and go somewhere else or do you trust them?

I have been wanting to buy this for sometime. I have it on PS5 but I rarely play on my PS5 and I have the original version when it first came out. Which version do I buy for the Switch 2? I want to make sure I get everything and I see multiple versions of the game.

Ozempic/Skin cancer - getting filler

Hi everyone! I'm a 38M - I had skin cancer removed on the side of my nose about two years ago. Also, I lost 100 pounds using GLP meds. The left side of my face is a bit uneven from my right side because of the skin cancer and the weight loss. The surgeon that fixed my face after the cancer was removed suggested filler on that side. I never had filler before and would love to know what I am getting myself into. He said it will either be filler or a mini face lift but he seems to be pushing me towards filler. I'm an actor so, I want to make sure there isn't a drastic change in my appearance but right now it is very clear that one side of my face is very uneven.

Do I need this….

I’m 38 and can no longer sit at my gaming computer for long periods of time. Wife and I travel a lot. I have a PS5 and just bought a switch 2 (which I can’t put down). I want another handheld that I have access to my computer library of games (Steam, Epic, Blizzard, Gog) and looking to emulate. I was looking at the steam OLED but just stumbled upon this beauty. Pros and cons. What do I need to know? I enjoy sitting in my arm chair in the living room playing my games while my wife watches TV. If I can play WoW or any MMO sitting in my living room I will be in heaven.

I was wondering if anyone has ever recorded a demo with Toonhouse before? What was the process. I'm thinking of going with them for my animation demo. Thanks!

I know this is an acting community but curious if anyone was taken Rick Crom stand up class in NYC? I have always wanted to do stand up and finally got enough courage to sign up for it. I have done improv before and I know it's very different. I'm excited and nervous!
