What do you think of the idea of Darth Plageuis being around during The Phantom Menace? And do you think it is a missed opportunity to not have implemented him in the film?

I'm guessing Lucas hadn't conceived of Plageuis at the time, or Palpatine not yet being the master at the time. Retroactively establishing the latter I doubt was his idea.

But for the first question: With the film as it is, do you think that (Before it got decanonised along with all other contemporary material) enhanced the film/story or just added plot holes and unanswered questions to it?

For the second question, do you think Lucas should have conceived of him then and implement him in some way? What would you have his role be, before being murdered?

Does anyone think the show--S2 in particular--is video gamey?

This is what a friend told me, too gamey and got worse as it went on. Seems pretty bizarre to me (No, she does not play video games).

Does anyone else think the show is gamey? I haven't watched it so I can't judge for myself, and I don't even know what it means.

Did/do crowds actually go crazy over the DVD logo hitting corners, or are these videos fake? Have you witnessed such incidences or seen them live?

Does the DVD screensaver even get to play over the screen at public events?

And anyone can slap a clip of a DVD screensaver over the screen depicted in a video, take out the sound and insert a crowd sound from elsewhere that makes it sound like they are reacting to the DVD logo.

What makes all blu-ray players compatible with DVD discs?

And if it it isn't a native ability, why were they all made compatible from the start as it would require licensing? I understand it now as HD DVD failed so DVD compatibility is very much needed, but before that the two formats were competing.

A lot of people not so happy for Cortana

To me she's fine, sapphiresque, but I guess that isn't a hit in other men's league.

Had Series 5 not required an extra year, would the shock regeneration at the end of Stolen Earth have been the regeneration point?

I have wondered this.

The Doctor regenerates fully (Which may devastate Rose if she was only in love with THAT Doctor), possibly spends the bulk of the episode recovering, Donna activates the hand which results in the other Doctor who saves the day with her, thus David Tennant still fulfills the contract of being in every episode of series 4.

Of course the Doctor diverting his regeneration energy to the hand might have been crucial for that thus his fatal injury and regeneration saved all of existence (Did it?) but that isn't a necessary explanation anyway.

Do you think this would have been how things went if RTD and Tennant not had to stay and keep the show running during the long gap between series 4-5, or would it be considered too abrupt and anticlimactic a way for Tennant to go out? Or would it require casting the next Doctor too early? Or maybe Tennant and RTD would have been needed for the 2008 Christmas special anyway?

Do moderators participate in the subreddits they moderate just like other users do?

I ask because every subreddit I've ever looked at you only see posts/comments with the big green MOD label when they have something to say regarding moderation.

Do moderators not partake like normal users, or do they use alternate accounts, or does the MOD label only show when the post/comment concerns moderation?

If the TV license gets applied to YouTube and streaming services, how will this be enforced?

Use any VPN provider that is encrypted, outside the surveillance alliances, utilises a kill-switch, and is reputable, and boom the BBC cannot see that your ISP is on YouTube/streaming. In addition, VPN usage has rocketed over a thousand fold thanks to the OSA; many millions of Brits have one, the streaming services themselves can't stop VPN usage as it's an endless game of cat and mouse (Much less just to adhere to one foreign country's laws), and YouTube has no interest in the matter.

Also the BBC does not have access to our bank statements (And if the state decides they do for this matter, that's what crypto's for), nor do they have access to our Google accounts or devices.

How could this be enforced? Do you think it will work or just lead to mass refusal and defiance they cannot deal with due to factors like VPNs? How will it even work given how differently the Internet works to satellite TV?

The most enforcement I can see is by catching non-anonymous social media posts/comments that mention/show/links to YouTube videos/streaming services and gives away that the person uses them and they go viral or someone snitches, and when people use bad VPN providers that do not protect them. Both of which however people will simply learn from.

Were the lurkers going to be long term antagonists?

I was wondering if they were the metal heads/dark makers of the time, where in sequels they would be spread across the world wherever Jak and Daxter go, in all kinds of new forms, terrorising the locals, doing the bidding of the dark forces, bringing destruction and death in their wake, hooked on dark eco (Were they infected in TPL?).

ND probably did not even have in mind that the lurkers are actually a peaceful race (Putting aside the sharks) who are neither violent nor power hungry and that those in TPL were just victims of dark eco and Gol and Maia and like anyone else are not actually drawn to dark eco when they are not infected. That seems to be a by-product of the setting and tone being changed and the lurkers subsequently being discarded as antagonists.

Do animals that react faster than us, move faster, have faster heart rates, shorter lifespans, see everything in slower motion?

Think cats, bear, and mice for example. Is the world moving slower to them? And to slower, cold blooded animals like reptiles is the world faster to them?

Did any of you see the teaser for Toy Story 3 at the time? How did it make you feel as it had been so long? And was there much skepticism as to how Pixar could possibly live up to the standard set by the duology and not potentially tarnish it?

Some of the comments point out that there's a lot of dislikes. Any idea why there were?

Of course this is either my favourite teaser ever or up there. Just watching it now brings nostalgia and slight chills, even when I've just watched all films.

The combination of the instrumental, the toys all acting in character, having fun, bantering, as well as it having being a decade since the last film makes it a masterpiece of a teaser that not only brings the nostalgia and chills out of you but is completely deserved and justified as the duology were incredible and widely beloved films and it had been a decade since..

I didn't see it at the time, I saw some clip of Woody eating popcorn or something. Don't know what that was.

Did any of you work out you have sleap apnea by yourself? How did you, and how common is this?

From reading about it years ago, I got the impression many or most people go years with untreated sleep apnea and only find out once they have sleeping partner who suffers the consequences.

How I figured it and got tested is by hearing of sleep apnea somewhere 10+ years ago, remembering it more recently and suspecting it due to poor quality sleep as well as taking sudden breaths when I'm half asleep/half awake. Though I also suspected mirtazapine as that can make me feel drowsy in the chest or something like that. I also wonder if sleep apnea had something to do with paralysis (Without monsters) as I haven't had that since treatment.

Ralph earned with three hands, Vito earned with two hands and his mouth.

You ever pondered that? No wonder Tony could afford a yacht thanks to him.
