Is there any legal route for this? Northern Ireland

my son has autism, early developmental delay and severe learning disabilities. he has a statement of educational needs describing such in great detail. anyway, this year the education authority has decided they are NOT funding a nursery class in the only special needs school in my area. and apparently it’s because “nursery isn’t compulsory“ to me, there are several schools for neurotypical children where they will be taught and learn, at their own pace and to their abilities. Sending my child into a class where he won’t be able to comply with the rules and expectations of him is not happening over my dead body. however, I’m wondering what’s the best thing to do here? surely it is discriminatory, I mean there are an array of options for those with no impairments, but when it comes to those who have a mental and/or physical impairment, there are no options because they aren’t “funding” a class?

Heart failure question (my mum) 54F.

so my mum had a TIA a few months ago. was sent home with beta blockers, and vitamin D tablets. a further scan showed fluid in the lungs which was being treated as pneumonia. since, a further xray showed fluid on the heart and lungs and she was diagnosed with heart failure. her echo was today, where they stopped and admitted her to a ward. all I know now, is they’ve said her heart is at “20%” and they want to do “the 4 pillars” can anyone advise me on the likely outcome, treatment, and inform me on wether there is any hope in this scenario? she also has COPD.

Few questions, trying to figure it out as I go along😅

I’m not good with wording things but basically my first question is, does anyone on sertraline feel like they have a “mental block” or something literally at the front of their head/brain? I know it sounds weird but it’s the only way I can explain it and if anyone has this feeling when NOT on sertraline do you have any idea what it is?

Please stop and think people who have a new or newer account, are a first time borrower, can be genuine.

just wanted to post this, I’ve seen on here and on various other pages the skepticism on newer accounts or people who are borrowing for the first time, I’d like to say of course I know there are disingenuous people out there, but it’s the assumptions that are kind of unfair a lot of the times. i see a lot of people telling people to “sell their phone” “go to a food bank“ etc. what is weird in these scenario’s are the people commenting such things, don’t have any intention to help, give positive feedback or advice, they’re just bored and want to knock someone down, who’s very likely already at their lowest point, I mean coming on the internet to ask strangers for help isn’t an easy thing to do because we have to remember, there are also scammers on the other side of borrowing. The pages are for the purpose of loans, not snarky comments telling people to go to food banks, sell their devices or ask family, I’m sure they’ve already explored those avenues, or maybe they aren’t available to them, or they feel ashamed or embarrassed doing so! at the end of the day, theyre requesting a loan, not a handout & it seems a lot of people try to sabotage peoples chances that are already slim by just being downright horrible. I felt the need to post this because I’ve been in a really bad situation myself lately, and I’ve been lucky to get help on here, I was also met with the “newer account, no chance” the length of time someone is on a platform shouldn’t have anything to do with their level of need.

How do you switch off? Like hobbies? Or anything? I’m a 26 year old mum to a beautiful boy

Hi everyone, think this flair is the only one that suits my query! Anyway, just wondering what are things you do when you have time? Like if you have someone to look after the child for a few hours, or at night time when they’re asleep? What’s your favourite thing to do to wind down? I’m not really a social person due to my anxiety and I do try but I mean like things you can do from home🩷

(REQ) (£239) (disability buggy) (UK) (PayPal/Bank transfer) (08/07)

i need to get a disability buggy for my son. I can get him one, in August. but now would be ideal (sooner than later) as unfortunately he has outgrown his current one, as it’s a standard pram. I need this to be able to take him out safely, this is the cheapest version I have found online, and I know it’s still a big loan. I have had loans before if you want to check my posts, thanks

Can anyone explain the “levels” to me? I’m not from America and know you guys have levels there, but how do they determine the level? (My son is autistic) I’m curious to know

Big ask. But I have to try as unfortunately I don’t really have another choice. I need to purchase a disability buggy. They are £239. For context: my child has disabilities, he has outgrown the standard buggy/pram. I cannot take him out as it’s too dangerous on foot.

I have an active loan on another group, I am a genuine person. I can repay. but to be totally honest, the repayment would have to be on the 07/08. if anyone can help, it would be amazing. if not, or if you have any questions, dm me, as there are details I’m not comfortable posting publically.

I should be happy today, but I’m just not🥹 really having bad times. I’m 26, but I just feel like I’m very naive to the real world. If anyone wants to chat or offer advice, my messages are open🥰

honestly I just feel empty inside, my meds aren’t working, life just keeps throwing hurdles at me, everything is going wrong, nothing ever turns out happy. I just give up

Diagnosed with severe ocd and bpd, the ocd has been diagnosed since childhood. One of the worst forms they said they’d ever seen. Anyway. Now it’s being queried as very likely (I think it is) autism. My son is autistic too. Has anyone had these diagnosis changed to autism?

I’m really hoping I get answers soon
