Out of all my hobbies, birding is BY FAR the one with the nicest people. My first encounter with a rare bird was a Hooded Warbler, and guess how I found it: There were five people with huge lenses pointing at a tree. Everyone's really kind and understanding to younger or less experienced birders and will explain exactly where the birds are. Random birders I don't know have invited me to look at skimmers through their expensive scope, and I love that it's socially acceptable to start up a long conversation with a complete stranger about local birds.
Another fun thing about birding is that everyone I've met loves birds so much. No one will look at you weird if you start talking about a screech-owl and mimic the call for reference, or if you start jumping up and down at the sight of a sparrow, because they'll do the same.
I feel like I haven't been accepted this quickly in any other community. The only requirement to be a birder is to love birds, no matter who you are, and that's one of my favorite parts.
Every time it’s happened, I’ve been too busy obtaining his treats to get a picture so here’s a sketch instead. I will literally be sitting in a chair and doing work, feel whiskers on my ankles/legs, and look down to see this.
Not sure whether to flair this as screenshot or bug, but why is Flightbreeze mates with a dead kit, and why doesn't it show up on the kit's side? I'm gonna go into the files and remove the fact that he was mates with a kit, but why did this happen? I only noticed after going specifically into Flightbreeze's family tree to check something.
Also note that despite my history of messing with the save files, I left this clan alone and I genuinely have no idea why it happened.
