Jesse Lacey X John Nolan tragic love story confirmed??

/uj i truly don’t know what Nolan means by this because unless it’s about Nolan’s breakup or the girl that they were fighting over that started the ordeal, the song doesn’t seem inspired by Nolan and neither of those options really make much sense considering the gravity of the song.

/rj I can’t believe these two were dating

Good callouts followed by bad/boring breakdowns

I think Funeral Derangements is one of Ice Nine Kills’ better songs and “The wrath of god lays beneath this soil” is such a good callout but the breakdown that follows it is so disappointing

The 1st movie has this feeling that none of the others have

I’ve been watching the movies for the first time (I’m on Jason Goes To Hell) and while the first movie isn’t my favorite, it has a certain feel to it that none of the other seem to replicate, but I can’t put my finger on it exactly.

Maybe it’s the fact that it’s more grounded and feels more like something that could actually happen in real life, or maybe because it has the most important storyline in the series, or maybe I’m just wrong lol.

(R.I.P. Annie by the way)

If free will doesn’t exist, then why should be people by punished for their crimes?

So I know this sounds like a dumb question but I’ve recently heard some people claim that they don’t believe in free will and a lot of the arguments make sense, some of them don’t.

I’m no philosopher but obviously people are punished for what the large amount of society considers wrong, but say someone murders another person, if free will doesn’t exist, doesn’t that mean it would be impossible for the person to have not killed the other person? I say this because I’ve heard arguments that when it comes to making choices it’s all about what your brain wants more you want an apple more than a pear so you eat the pear because your brain told you to and even if you picked the pear it’s still because your brain wanted the pear instead. If you murder someone, this logic is still there correct?

I apologize if this is just a bad question but I’m very curious to hear an answer for it

Also, I swear I’m not planning on killing anyone lol, it kinda reads like I am

I Hate The Concept Of Rating People

Tangent:

I hate blackpill content as a whole but it’s one thing to better yourself and focus on yourself, it’s another thing to judge other people and expect them to do what you’re doing, which is what most “looksmaxxers (such as stupid term lol)” do

I’ve never had someone rate me to my face and I’ve never rated anyone but it’s such a dumb concept so I don’t know why anyone does it other than to feel better about themselves or just to be an asshole

I know so many people who are openly willing to call people ugly or 3/10’s or whatever and it’s astounding how confidently people say it

If you ever tell someone that they’re “cooked”, a “sub-five” or some other bullshit, you’re scum

Crunkcore songs with only screaming?

I haven’t listened to much crunkcore but I’ve come to the conclusion that I only like it if all the vocals are screamed so I was curious if I anyone knew any songs like “Get Crunk” where all the vocals are screamed.

Just noticed the debut has a weird staticky sound in the background of certain tracks

I love The Sunday’s’ first record and when I was listening to “I Kicked a Boy” I noticed some staticky stuff in the background during the second line of the song and it’s prevalent in “Here’s Where The Story Ends” as well

I thought it was just my headphones so I tried using my computer’s IEMs and I noticed the same thing and it doesn’t seem to happen with other records

Has anyone else heard this is it just a streaming issue, a general production issue, or nothing at all (I use YT Music if that makes a difference)

What are some of the most influential early metalcore bands?

I'm working on a video and the only ones I can think of off the top of my head are Poison The Well and Converge. I'm looking for bands that the started at the inception of metalcore, protometalcore, or very early 2000s., that shaped what the genre would become.

What’s the sample is As Your Voice Fades by Emery from?

During the instrumental break, there’s a spoken word section that sounds like a sample from a movie or something so I was curious as to what said sample was or if it’s even a sample at all

Has there ever been an era of music where people weren’t saying “Today’s music is trash”?

I feel like this is something I hear very frequently amongst people today and while the mainstream is lacking a bit, I think there’s still plenty of good music even in the mainstream. I was born in 09 and I feel like I’ve heard people say this my whole life. I’m into a lot metal and hardcore so maybe that’s why I feel like people have never been happy with “today’s music” due to the elitism frequently displayed in those genres.

I’m just curious to hear from people that are older than me to see if people have ever been content with their “today’s music”

Deathcore fans when the genre that stems from hardcore is hardcore

This post was on r/deathcore asking for recs about being angry due to the pain being inflicted onto others btw

I got a way better reception from posting on r/hardcore lol

Songs about being pissed due to the harm being done to others?

With the ICE murders, all the unnecessary wars going on, my country’s incompetent/facist/racist/pedophile president, seeing so many people begging to get out of Gaza, the Congo or wanting the ability to fund treatment for an illness they have being all over my fyp on basically every social media app I have, the murders of innocent LGBTQ+ members, and all the other things going on that I’m forgetting about, I’ve been pissed off, and it’s just gotten worse since the most recent documented ICE murder

I’m looking for songs with the same/similar energy as Hush Yael by Oh Sleeper or Breeding Bacteria by Thy Art Is Murder

I don’t know if the mods allow it, but if anyone knows any good gofundme’s or charities worth donating to, drop them in the comments to raise awareness and possibly help someone in their awful situation

Best free plugins for Melodeath esque riffs?

I’m trying to learn guitar and I love At The Gates style riffage, so I figured The Final Episode by Asking Alexandria would be a good place to start, but I can’t seem to get the right tone so I was wondering what the best free plugins would be to achieve that sound

Will OS/System Migration on DiskGenius carry all the data on my System drive to another drive?

I’m trying to make a bigger and better ssd I bought my system drive to replace the current one and I’d like for it to have all the data I have on the current drive, but I’ve heard conflicting answers with some people saying it only carries the OS itself to the other drive and that you have to clone it instead, but from what I understand cloning doesn’t allow the drive to be bootable, but DiskGenius’ website says it carries all your data so
