One of my artworks inspired by the story from my book, featuring a little Mouse and the Three Magical Paddy Grains.
Through this scene, I wanted to capture elements of traditional Vietnamese rural life—not only its peaceful landscapes and everyday culture, but also the inner world, values, and spirit of the people who live in these quiet countryside communities.
In my hometown, the river has flowed through generations, carrying with it the stories, memories and spirits of the people who have lived along its banks. Because of this, pottery made from the river’s alluvial clay feels more than simply handmade, it carries something deeply spiritual and unique.
This artwork took 45 days to complete,measuring: 2.1 × 2.1 meters and was created with pencils on paper.

Every year on August 15, Vietnamese Catholics celebrate the Feast of the Assumption and make pilgrimages in honor of “Our Lady of La Vang” whose apparition is traditionally believed to have taken place in (1798 in Quảng Trị, Vietnam)
