Are singles overlooked in church? Your experiences?
Does anyone else feel that their church is not very inclusive or “accepting” of their single-adult population? When I say “not accepting” I don’t mean not welcome… but that Scripture lessons, ministries, and general fellowship programs seem to center around and cater to already established married couples? Observed that during pre-and post-service fellowship, married couples are talking to married couples, and that the singles are either leaving right away or wandering aimlessly looking for interaction?
I have done some research online and it seems to be a widespread issue (especially with single men), and I am curious about others’ takes on it…
