Recently added some career stats so if you click on the name of a band in the leaderboard it will show a graph that shows how their rating and ranking changes over time similar to a stock, it shows every head to head match result vs other bands and then some other ones such as biggest upset, longest winning/losing streak, etc

Got a dog? Or a picture of a dog? Simple game - users can upload a picture of their dog and it gets added to the arena. The arena matches up 2 random dogs and you vote for the one you like more. Winners rating goes up and losers goes down. Then a new match appears. There is a leaderboard and if you click the dog or the owner then some additional stats appear.

Beginner screenwriter and mainly do it for fun. Series back I bought FD10 and it came with the FD11 upgrade for free. FD11 didn’t work in my new computer as I have an SSD vs HDD that I guess is not supported. They offered a $50 upgrade as opposed to the current $99 promotion.

I do plan to write all episodes for my 10 episode miniseries (again mainly for fun as I know generally fires only supposed to do pilot for actual scripts).

In the meantime I’ve used WriterDuet and writersolo which is nice because I can edit in the WriterDuet app. I switched to writer solo just because I want all my screenplays in one project.

Are there certain features of FD13 that will help benefit for something like this? The idea of editing on the go with writersolo for mobile tweaks is nice and I don’t think FD13 offers this. $50 isn’t an issue for me but just trying to decide if it’s even worth it, or is good just to have FD13 with it being industry standards

Personally I like Simple Creatures, I find their songs catchy and am also an ATL fan so I like the collaboration. Curious as to why they don’t seem to be liked really by fans of blink? All Time Low fans do seem to enjoy the project more but I guess that may be because there’s a bigger name on it with Mark

Hi all, I had an idea quite some time ago to write a Blink-182 screenplay utilizing many of the themes, lyrics, names referenced, etc within the screenplay whether it be for certain scenes or lyrics within the dialogue. I ended up changing my idea from a screenplay (movie) 90 page format to a 10 episode mini-series (with each episode being about 30 pages).

I finally polished off and am comfortable sharing the first episode of what I plan to be a 10 episode mini-series. Unfortunately these will be scripts be text only as I can't foresee this actually getting produced or made but wanted to share the script (and future scripts in the series) with the group. I have had a lot of fun listening, and re-listening to songs to catch some lyrics and themes that I want to incorporate so hopefully some people have some enjoyment reading it. There's a good amount of references and lyrics scattered throughout from Blink songs. Of course this episode could drastically change, as I continue to write and will probably go back and tweak or edit as new lyrics catch my attention.

I almost have episode 2 finalized too, so hoping to have that one done by the end of the month. The rest of the episodes are outlined, so just need to get to writing. Either way thought I would share.

Am a Blink-182 and of course a fan of some of the other major pop punk bands (term is used loosely in my personal taste) from the 90s/2000s like ATL, We The Kings, Sum 41, Green Day, Yellowcard, Simple Plan, etc

Hi All, I was working on writing a feature script (actually had some idea changes and may switch to a series style instead) but was curious if anyone has written anything that heavily revolves and is based upon a popular band. Essentially I would incorporate lyrics as actual dialogue, name characters based upon names used in song lyrics, and then I need to research this next part a little more but “use/recommend songs” as background music.

Is this something I can do - I imagine worst case as a fan fic and post on my own site? But best case what are my options here? Reach out to band directly if I have any desire of getting this made?

Also maybe a separate conversation but has anyone ever posted their script for free online and any special things I should do in regard to doing so in case opportunities arise down the road?
