What do you think of the popularity of socialism with democrats?

Sources:

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/democrats-socialism-economy-political-parties-opinion-poll/

https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2026/06/30/about-a-third-of-us-democrats-like-political-leaders-who-identify-as-democratic-socialists/

The former poll shows 70% of dems with a college degree approve of socialism, as well as 49% of those without a degree. I find the latter figure higher than I'd expect. 19% of dems without a degree are negative on socialism and 16% of dems with a degree are negative on socialism

Overall 58% of democrats have a positive view of socialism and 24% have no opinion. 50% view capitalism negatively and 18% view socialism negatively.

Pulling buck teeth in with tongue, have I harmed my teeth?

I'm 25 and have an overjet and for almost two months I've found myself putting my tongue in front of the buck teeth and pulling in, not expecting it to do anything. But I just googled it and it said this is bad.

Will I have harmed my teeth if I've been doing it alot within this time frame? I notice no visible difference at all but I know they can move and be unsettled from microscopic distance. I got a filling in the buck teeth because of enamel loss months ago, and I have a couple cavities I'm getting fixed in 10 days. Should I be worried

[META] Why is the anti soapboxing rule rarely enforced?

According to rule 3 it's against the rules to make posts "soapboxing or lecturing the community"

But half the posts that make it to my home menu are leading questions against a different faction of the party, meant to influence people against that faction. It'll be like "Why does [Other Faction] insist on [Bad thing]" and then the body text is an opinionated screed. Whenever any notable event happens there's a rush to make agenda posts like "Why does [Faction] not condemn [Bad Thing]". A lot of posts that take off are the OP trying to get a dunk in or to shadowbox about something they saw on their social media feeds

Even putting the bidaily faction battle posts aside, there are also posts which fit the mold of "why are conservatives bad" even though that's specifically called out in rule 3. From just this week I saw a "why do cons not have empathy" post.

Based on all the posts I see from this sub each day I have to wonder how blatant it needs to be to get removed
