What made you properly believe in this Bristol City team?

For me, it wasn’t one particular result. It was seeing the team start to look like they genuinely had a bit of belief and character about them. Those little moments where you come away from a game feeling like something is building are what make a season exciting.

Which Burnley player did you ever appreciate enough at the time?

Looking back, there’s probably a player who didn’t get the credit they deserved while they were here. Maybe it took seeing them leave to realise how important they actually were to the team. Some players only get properly appreciated once they’re gone.

If supermarkets were empty tomorrow, how long could you realistically get by?

Not talking about a full-on collapse scenario, just a sudden disruption that left shelves bare for a while. Have you ever worked out how long your household could comfortably manage with what you already have? What would be the first thing you'd run short on?

Could happily spend every weekend wandering around Keswick

Finally back in town for a few days. Does anyone else always feel like their trip truly begins once they walk through the Market Square and see this building? Always a great spot to grab a coffee and people-watch. What’s your favorite thing to do in Keswick when the weather is this nice?

Doctor Who reportedly considering delay to next special

Seen a few reports suggesting the next Doctor Who special might not arrive as originally planned, with a lot of uncertainty still around the future of the show after Ncuti Gatwa’s exit and Billie Piper’s surprise return. Feels like the fanbase is really split right now. Some people think the show could benefit from taking a short break and properly resetting, while others just want them to keep the momentum going into the next era. How’s everyone feeling about the future of the series at the moment?

Wembley blues: Is anyone else finally starting to look ahead to next season?

It’s been nearly a week since that late goal at Wembley and I still can’t bring myself to watch the highlights back. Feels like it’s been such a long and emotionally draining season, which probably makes the ending hurt even more. Missing out on promotion right at the death is the kind of thing that sticks with you for a while. Has the disappointment started to wear off for anyone yet? How do you look back on the performance now the dust has settled, and where do you think the club needs to focus this summer?

Quick question for drivers, do you prefer tips in the app or cash?

I’ve been thinking about this for a while and figured I’d ask the people who actually know. I always want to make sure my tip is actually reaching the driver, but I’m never quite sure what the best way is to go about it. Does it make much of a difference to you guys if I tip through the app versus giving cash at the door? Just want to make sure I’m doing it in the way that’s most convenient (and helpful) for you. Thanks for all your hard work!

Is anyone else finding the job market brutal right now?

Been applying for internships and grad roles lately and honestly it’s starting to feel like applications just disappear into a black hole half the time 😭 Between ghosting, automated rejections and jobs wanting loads of experience for “entry level” roles, it’s getting pretty draining. Is anyone actually having much luck at the moment, or has anyone changed their approach and found something that works better?

One of my favourite ever photos of Ayresome Park

Saw this old photo again today and honestly it just captures a completely different era of football.

Even as someone who grew up more with the Riverside, old Ayresome pictures always feel special.

Would love to hear memories from fans who actually went there regularly.

Is a Master’s in Marketing worth the ROI in 2026?

I’m currently weighing up an offer for an MSc in Marketing, but I’m struggling to justify the cost given the current job market. Between tuition fees and living costs, part of me worries it could end up feeling more like an expensive gap year than a real career boost. I’d really like to hear from anyone who’s done a similar course recently. Do you feel it genuinely helped with job opportunities, networking or industry connections, or would you have been better off just gaining work experience instead? Honest advice would genuinely help a lot.

Do temp summer jobs now get SSP from day one?

I’m looking at taking a 4-week temp job over the summer. In the past I never really bothered with sick pay because of the old 3-day waiting rule, but I’ve heard that since the April 2026 changes, SSP gets paid from the very first sick day now. Does that still apply for really short-term temp contracts where you might only be there for a month or so? Also, am I right in thinking lower-paid workers now get either 80% of average earnings or the SSP rate, whichever is lower? I’ve seen a few articles about it from March/April, just wanted to check it’s definitely live now and not something still waiting to come in.

Any late-night radio recommendations for winding down?

I’ve been listening to Radio 3 Unwind a lot lately, but I’m looking to branch out a bit. Does anyone have a favourite late-night station or show for peaceful background listening? I’ve tried the usual Mellow Magic and Classic FM Smooth Classics, but I’d love to find something a bit less obvious, maybe a local DAB station or a smaller digital channel with a really chilled late-night presenter.

Trying to figure out where this old restaurant photo was taken

I’m assuming it’s somewhere in London because of the old 01 area code on the sign, but I can't quite make out the street number on the blue door next to it, looks like 22 or 220? It has that classic "Lunches, Teas, Suppers" vibe. Does anyone recognize the building or the corner? I’d love to know if the building is still standing or what’s there now!

Is anyone else catching Felix White’s residency on Absolute this month?

I’ve listened to the first part of Felix White’s artist residency and I’m really enjoying it so far. He’s got such a good way of talking about the stories behind the tracks, it reminds me of the kind of music-led radio we used to get a lot more of. If anyone’s looking for something good to catch up on this week, it’s definitely worth a listen. Has anyone else tuned in yet, or are you waiting to see who the next resident is in June?

How is everyone dealing with the “brain mush” between exams?

Just finished one of my bigger exams and I genuinely feel like my brain has factory reset 😭 i’ve got another one in a few days and I honestly don’t know how people switch straight into revising a completely different subject without getting everything mixed together. Any actual good ways to mentally reset for a bit that aren’t just staring at a wall for an hour? Also, is anyone still functioning normally right now or are we all just slowly turning into library creatures until the end of May?

Vintage toaster from a market, could this be asbestos insulation?

My friend bought an old toaster from a vintage market in the South East over the weekend that looks like it’s probably from the early 90s. There’s a grey-ish fibrous board material inside near the heating elements, which made us wonder whether older appliances like this used asbestos for heat insulation. Nothing has been disturbed or plugged in yet. Would something like this usually be considered risky to use, or is it more a case of leaving it alone unless the material is damaged?
