Anyone wear emergency bracelets or smart bracelets/monitors?

Early 40s male, full 100% CT0 of the Right Distal RCA in December

No stents due to the danger associated with the full cto and position of the blockage along with having good collaterals. On meds only and recent blood test looks great

I am a bit of a "solo" person in the world - all of my friends are now spread around the world.

I'm still quite active, go to the gym 3-4 times a week, usually out and about doing things - but sometimes wonder if something were to happen, that it might be quite a delay before anyone knew.

Does anyone here where some sort of emergency bracelet or monitor? Is that silly to even think?

I can't do anyone like an Apple Watch, it would drive me crazy - would need something more low profile

Thoughts?

Ramipril Cough - any way to combat this?

Hey everyone,

Been on Rampiril for around 4-5 months now and I've been dealing with that persistant dry-cough

Is there any way to help this, or should I contact my cardiologist and try another option?

Healthy alternative to Panko?

I've been on a panko crusted tofu kick lately, but would rather find a healthier option for the panko.

I use Chickpea Flour and Water for the "batter"

And I bake it, not fry

Looking for something nice and crispy, low cal and/or high protein would be pluses

Gymgoers - don't take your towel off 1inch from my face when typing my shoes

Empty-ish locker room, I'm sitting on a bench bent over tying my shoes and this dude couldn't be bothered to say excuse me, or even wait 10 seconds until I tie a shoe and decide to take off his towel so his ass if 1 inch from my face.

Do better weirdos

*tying my shoes .. not typing my shoes*

Baby Journals?

Looking for a great baby journal for new parents.

Even better if it's one that I can get personalized.

Best Dried Fruit in the city?

Not just quality - but selection of stuff that might be more unique.

My go-to's have been the downstairs Italian place at the St Lawrence Market and Tavazo in Yorkville.

Deleted Elements still showing up in Preview

I've been having this problem where I might drag and drop in an image, but then instead delete or undo it - and while it's completely gone in the editor, it still shows up in the preview

What could be happening here?

Cheap Game Chronicles #3 - SILVER CHAINS

Price
Got it for $3/cad

Review
This game is... not fun. I decided I'm not even going to finish it.

The puzzles are incredibly nonsensical.

It's no fun when you have to try and find a guide online for each and every step. Even the people doing walkthrough videos get frustrated. Lots of backtracking over and over to try and figure out what in the heck they are trying to get you to do.

Even then, the triggers are so touchy that it's hard for them to even show up unless you get the very precise angle and click at the very millisecond before it disappears again

Graphics and environment aren't very good, story is a nothing-burger, voice acting is minimal but meh, sound is meh

Smash or Pass?
Save your money, skip this one. Pass.

Cheap Game Chronicles #2 - THE BEAST INSIDE

Wow! What a fantastic game this was!

Price
Got it for $5/cad

Review
I went in completely blind, based on a Reddit comment recommending it and can't overstate how much I enjoyed it.

Great story, great voice acting and score, great graphics.

I enjoyed the gameplay, it had a mix of "waking sim" with some puzzles, and light combat in a few spots.

It gave off a bit of RE7 mixed with Layers of Fear.

Worth a play for sure.

Cheap Game Chronicles #1 - Reveil

#1 as in the first post, not the first cheap game I bought

Either way, shoutout to cheap games out there, so many of my favorties have been games I went in blind with and grabbed on sale for dirt cheap.

I just finished REVEIL and has a blast

Got it on sale for about $10/cad

Loved the voice acting, great visuals, great sound design, overall a great experience.

I hate the term - but if you like "walking sims" like Layers of Fear, it's worth the buy

Downtown/Pride is such a mess this year.

I've lived DT my whole life, this was absurd.

Absolutely zero breaks in the street barriers, meaning no way to cross Yonge.

Mall Cops blocking entrances into buildings that have access to TTC (which would be the only way to creatively get across the street)

Cops straight up holding Automatic Weapons (maybe the first time I've ever seen this for a parade)

And just people in general not being able to self navigate a system to move on the sidewalk, causing huge clogs where zero movement happens

I even saw some business owners/bar/restaurants losing it on the mall cops for blocking their entrances and not allowing people either in or out

Any only available on Xbox Horror Games?

I have a Playstation and an Xbox - no PC

Wondering if there are any great (or even just fun, good, decent) games available on the Xbox that I wouldn't be able to find for Playstation.

Digital only.

Reduced Amlodipine - now alot more chest pain

Before ya'll flame me. This was recommended by my cardiologist due to low blood pressure - we are testing it out for a month.

Was 5mg, now it's 2.6mg once a day. All other meds stayed the same.

Have a follow up in a couple of weeks - just wanted to hear if anyone else has experienced the same.

Had my MI in December, 100% CTO in the Distal RCA - no stent, just meds as I have good collaterals.

Kensington Market has become AI Slop Central

Nothing like the neighbourhood built on art & culture being completely littered with AI posters at every other restaurant/bar/food place ...

Even better is them looking all the same.

Any movies about Just Trying To Get Home?

Was watching some videos about people rioting in NY last night and saw an Applebees in the background and as a former restaurant industry worker - couldn't help but to think "Man.. it would really suck trying to get home in the middle of this"

Then I thought... that would be a great plot for a movie - just an average person trying to get home in the middle of a riot (or something insane like that)

Need some help understanding how this works

Hi, adult gamer here - I have both and Xbox & PS5

However there are some games on Steam that I wanna play - mostly indie horror games. Along with alot of Demos that I think would be fun to try.

I really only play 2-3hrs at a time max and only a few days a week.

Ideally want to play on my TV, Sony Bravia.

Was originally going to get a Steam Deck but then they were out of stock for so long and now way more expensive.

Am I understanding correctly that with GeForceNow it essentially means I can bypass needing to buy a PC for gaming - and that I can buy things on Steam and play them on my TV (or wherever)?

Am I able to connect a Playstation or Xbox controller?
