it's been 10 years now ...
i haven't listened to Frank for a while now since i kinda outgrew him in a way as i am growing up, and what i listen to kinda changed as well.
listening again to this masterpiece of an album makes me wanna reminisce all the days i confided with this album. listening to Ivy when i fell in love, Nights when i was walking late at night in my hometown, being happy and free listening to Pink + White, thinking about my loved ones when Godspeed plays.
it's crazy how an album can hold so many different versions of urself. Blonde feels like a time capsule for me, not just because of the music itself, but because of the memories and people attached to every song. i may not listen to Frank as much as i used to, but coming back to Blonde after all this time reminds me why it meant so much to me in the first place.
10 years later, Blonde still feels as intimate and personal as ever. happy 10th anniversary to an album that soundtracked so many parts of my life. 🤍
to Frank, i just wish u are living a very happy and contented life rn. wherever u are, i hope life has been kind to u. i'm still hoping for a comeback and if that happens i'll be over the moon.
