But I've paid first year fees and will mostly take somewhere else . I just saw a review given by a senior about placement and I don't think it's a good roi for 25 lakhs just to get a btech degree .

But I just wanted to ask is it okay if I don't go to the college

I understood this is a prank and she immediately said that she just said that to me because she was given a dare and also said that I'm ugly . I just don't know I can't get that out of my mind , I have zero female friends

Mcbook or windows

the prices of laptops are crazy high so I don't even know what to do my budget was around 80 k but then I got to know about the price inflation . Laptops worth 65 70k are now around 80 k so i tried to increase my budget a little . Around 90k to 1 lakh and was planning to get lenovo loq rtx 4050 but it still costs around 1.15 lakh 💔. My brother ain't supporting me , he wants me to go with mcbook and is sending me reels with problems in windows laptop . He's so trying to manipulate me to get the mcbook that even after talking with our cousin who has mac and after my cousin telling what problems could I face he still wants me to go with mcbook but there was other way to fix it ( the problems) . My cousin suggested me to go with windows . My brother says there is no point in buying windows if u're buying around a lakh. Pls tell me what do I do

Okay, so I'll try to explain it briefly.

My father's iPhone 15 was pickpocketed while he was travelling by bus to Wagle Estate. He called me immediately, and we went straight to the Wagle Estate Police Station. The police registered a complaint and told us to wait outside until they called us in again.

While we were sitting on a bench outside the police station, my father, my older cousin, and I were trying to file an online complaint on a government website.

There was a man who had came to the police station for his work and was just sitting outside and waiting to get called just like us . He came up to us and curiously asked, "What happened?" I told him everything. At first, he seemed like a genuine and helpful person.

Later, he told us that something similar had happened to him. According to him, he had fallen asleep while travelling in a cab, and a thief stole his phone through the window. He then called his best friend to tell him what had happened. The man claimed that his friend dealt with pickpocketing gangs operating in different areas, and that most stolen phones eventually ended up with him. He said that, because of his friend's connections, he was able to get his phone back.

He also said he would try asking his friend about our phone. However, we never saw him again after that and we didn't plan to stay in contact with him cuz after all this he looked fishy to us

Okay so I (17 M) don't have any idea what is ITR and all . My mother is now a single parent after my father passed away in April.

I went to a college for admission related queries and there they told about need based scholarship. But the thing is the ITR should be less than 15 lakhs .

My mother filed an itr and it showed the income as 15,23,490 . I just wanted to ask can the amount be lowered ? Fyi We live on rent 45k ( Not sure why I mentioned that cuz just now I read a post about a guy asking something about rent)

We're aware that every year a few students manage to score 99 or even 100 percentile through unfair means, yet little to no action seems to be taken against them. We'll probably see it again once the merit list is released.

Just because this is a state level entrance exam doesn't make it any less important. Thousands of students work incredibly hard, and even a small amount of malpractice can affect deserving candidates.

I don't know if this issue will be raised as part of the ongoing protest, but I genuinely hope it is. Ensuring strict action against cheating is just as important as addressing any other concern related to the examination process.

I got an offer letter , but I mistakenly clicked accept and view details . Later I tried to undo it . Is this a problem .and even if I hadn't done that, kya mujhe extc pe jaane milta and is there an option now.

This year there were 2 cets. TBH there was no benefit of conducting 2 attempts.

It's crazy how percentiles have changed in both the attempts .Some people in the first round got 96 percentile on 97 marks or so (might be a hard shift).

This year was the worst for me .My father was terminal and his health had degraded so bad he couldn't understand things since Jan(Brain cancer- diagnosed in July). This was the worst phase of my life. It was hard for me to even study for boards. My first attempt for cet was on 13 th April, I genuinely couldn't study, because of the problems going on and we had just shifted to a new place a week ago before my exam for my father, cuz where we lived first didn't have any lift. In first attempt I was just able to score 92.5 percentile. Thought I would be able to score good in the 2nd attempt, but life had different plans for me. My father passed away on 23 april just 10 days after my 1st attempt .I just couldn't understand how things were happening so fast and that too during the crucial phase

I got my hsc board result when we were going to nashik for his asthi visarjan(84.83%). My second attempt was on 19th May. I was just able to study for a week . Scored 106+2 . My shift was declared one of the hardest by ganitank 19s1. Percentile predictor were going crazy , one even predicted 97 percentile. I was glad that at least I'm able to cross 95 percentile. Second attempt result came my score was 94.57 😔. No one in the range 105-112 crossed 95 ig. Cuz the no of students were less and were focused .

I just don't know why this is happening with me .I'll be happy even if I get Vivekanand ( vesit ) in spot round.

I feel really anxious. Scored 94.57 and missed the cutoff but 0.5 for scholarship. My first preference was ce and I got selected yesterday, but not for scholarship. I'm ass scared to pay 5.5 lakhs . My family can afford it but my brother is the main patriarch after my father passed away in april . He is 7 years older than me . So my father was there for him and the fees were okayish during his time around 1.75 something per year. A month ago when I asked him if I could fill the form for somaiya , he said first be there for the 2 cap rounds to finish and then fill the form later . He doesn't have any idea about the cutoffs of colleges and thinks I might get one of the good colleges. I filled the form after my aunt and relatives told me to , cuz they knew about the deadlines and the chances in later rounds . I just got the offer letter yesterday. My second preference was extc, in which I might get a scholarship. But it didn't proceed further as the first option was allotted.
