How can I even out my hair color?

I am wanting to achieve an all over even warm lighter chestnut brown hair color like this inspo pic. I have only ever dyed my hair with demi permanent hair dye and gotten highlights for a few years, but I have never had a full head of my natural hair color there has always been some sort of dye on it for almost 10 years now.

I had highlights about a year ago which I have since covered with various dark glosses and demi dark hair dye as pictured but it’s at the point where most of it has washed out by now and has turned all muddy with a mix of really dark color on the bottom, grown out natural roots on the top, and the brassy highlights starting to show through in the middle.

I just purchased the Revlon ColorSilk 46 Medium Golden Chestnut Brown to try and achieve this goal, but I’m worried applying it will make things even worse for myself. I really can’t afford to go to a professional right now so I would at least want to try and fix this myself at home first. I do have a haircut scheduled to help get rid of the dead ends. It’s fine if it’s not as light as the inspo pic is, I just really want it to be more even colored.

Will I damage my hair by using this dye and is it better to use demi-permanent color instead? If I do use the permanent color, is this the best brand to use and what’s the best application technique to get the most even result? Does anyone have any tips on the best way to fix this myself before having to see a professional?

Best hair salons for bangs?

I recently moved from Seattle to the north Kirkland area and am looking for a new hair stylist that can be trusted to cut my bangs and not botch them. I want a small trim while I am at it and would love not to break the bank. I am open to driving up as far north as to lynnwood and as far south as Renton but would prefer to go North instead of South.

AITAH for not wanting to pay for anything new since I’ve moved in with my roommate?

I used to live by myself for the past few years, and I recently moved in with a friend who was living at home prior to this and it is their first time moving out. While I am excited to have a roommate, especially one that’s my friend, I am struggling with some resentment right now. About 90% of the items in the house are mine, including basically all of our dishes, silverware, pots and pans, drinkware, cooking sauces and shared ingredients like seasonings, butter, and oil, and the cleaning supplies, towels, furniture like the couch, etc. These are all items that I purchased on my own for my previous place.

My roommate had less to bring since they were coming from their parents home, which is totally fine, but they keep bringing up to me splitting the purchases of new furniture they want, or if there are items we need more of, they just won’t ever purchase them, which makes me feel like I will have to purchase them myself and we wind up just splitting the cost if we ever want to get them.

Am I the asshole for thinking they should be the one to pay for any new items for our place for a while since the majority of everything else I brought and paid for all by myself?

Should I downgrade from a luxury vehicle?

I currently have a paid-off 2020 Mercedes CLA 250 with about 50,000 miles. It was a gift from my dad a few years ago, so there’s definitely some sentimental value, and I feel guilty considering getting rid of it.

The car has some cosmetic damage (a damaged front bumper and some deep scratches), but otherwise it’s been fine. My biggest concern is the long-term cost of owning it. I pay about $700 every 6 months for insurance and usually around $1,000 every 6 months for maintenance, sometimes more. It also requires premium gas.

I’ve been thinking about trading it in for a used Mazda CX-5 or another similar car and my goal would be to trade it for something of roughly equal value, specifically a used car with lower miles, so I’d still own my vehicle outright. My thought process is that the Mazda would likely be more reliable long-term, cheaper to maintain and repair, less expensive to insure, and I’m able to use regular gas instead of premium. Are those savings are actually worth giving up a luxury car?

If you were in my position, would you keep the Mercedes or would you trade it in? If you’ve made a similar switch, was it worth it?

What causes you to desire an emotionally deep relationship vs one that is strictly sexual?

If you consider yourself a man who values intimate relationships instead of a hook up culture, what do you think shaped you into being this way? Was it how you were raised or something significant that happened to you?

I find it very interesting how nowadays there seems to be such a stark difference in men, where many are only looking to hook up with one night stands or they rack up a high body count and sex is only casual to them, but on the other hand there are still a lot of men who yearn for intimate and deep level relationships and have lower body counts of only a few select people and are only sexually attracted to a select few women they connect with on a deeper level.

I’m curious to know the psychology behind what impacts this. If you identify with one, or even other being more sexually charged, I’d love to hear more about what experiences or moments led to you being this way. I don’t think one is better or worse than the other, I just find it interesting that most guys seem to lean strongly either one way or the other and don’t often fall in the middle and I’m so curious about what can cause a man to have one perspective vs another.

Someone help me please before I lose it

I have a CLA250 2020 and I swear I didn’t have this problem until a few months ago and now it happens all the time. The model I have doesn’t have skip buttons for music, you just use the touchpad on either the steering wheel or the touchpad in the center console and click down to skip the music but you have to make sure the white box/cursor is over the forward skip arrow otherwise it will open up whatever else it’s on to take up the full CarPlay screen. For some reason even if I have the cursor on the next button, if I click down, the cursor box will sometimes auto jump up to just sitting on the album cover, even if I did not move it manually. This is especially frustrating because I am trying to keep my eyes on the road, and it happens randomly, so I could be driving and hitting skip on my music and then out of the blue the cursor will jump up and then it opens Spotify on the screen, making my maps go away so I have no directions and I have to move the cursor manually using the touchpad to click back out again. I’m not sure if this is making any sense, but I included a video of it happening for reference. The randomness of it is making me lose my mind, cause sometimes it will let me just keep clicking and skipping songs until it randomly just decides to jump up from the skip button to the album and then I have to keep manually moving it back down by swiping to the skip button again. Is this a CarPlay issue or a Mercedes issue? How can I stop it from happening? I love this car but this happens at least once every time I drive and I’m losing my mind after months of it.

Best tinted sunscreens/moisturizer that you can actually just rub into your face like a normal moisturizer for oily skin?

I hate spending time getting ready in the mornings before work so I just want something I can easily rub into my face to even out my skin tone, I don’t need a ton of coverage, but I feel like everything I try leaves me so oily by the middle of my shift. Any product recommendations that make getting ready quick and don’t look awful by noon?

A good friends to lovers read?

I am looking for a good friends to lovers romance book, but not one where they are childhood best friends, just recently best friends over the past few years, and ideally on kindle unlimited so I can rent it. Can be any length and if it’s worth the read, I’m willing to purchase it if it’s not on KU!

Parking for new job

I am starting a new job this week in the Carillon Point buildings and it seems that all the lots in this main area require you to pay. What are some nearby areas maybe a 5-10 minute walk at most that I could park either street parking or other lots that don’t charge?

I’ve come to realize that my all time favorite type of music is the kind of songs that have a very haunting beat or undertone to them. I’m not sure if haunting is the right word but that is truly the only way I can describe it or very eerie. Some examples of this to me are songs like the below list:

  1. I Was Never There - The Weeknd
  2. Reflections - The Neighbourhood
  3. The Birds Pt 2 - The Weeknd
  4. Somewhere Tonight - Beach House
  5. Baby Come Home 2 - The Neighbourhood
  6. Sutphin Boulevard- Blood Orange
  7. Washing Machine Heart - Mitski
  8. Thank You - Dido

What are some similar types of artists or songs I could add to this playlist? I’ve already listened to a good amount of The Weeknd and The Neighbourhood but still open to anything maybe not as popular by them that I haven’t heard of.

Would love to expand this and hear any recommendations!

The first time this happened to me I thought this was just bad luck, but it has happened again to me. I’ve had it happen twice now where I sign up to tour an apartment complex and then the next day I’ll check and they have raised the rent price on the listing by $100. It’s so frustrating because I only want to tour them when they’re in budget and now they aren’t. Is this something other people see happen to them or is this truly a coincidence? If it isn’t a coincidence is there a way to avoid this happen or hold them to the original listing price that was stated when I signed up for the tour?

I am going to start working at a plastic surgery center that offers a wide variety of injections and fillers, and I get 50% off as an employee and they often hold free events every few months where injections/fillers are completely free. I am 23 going to turn 24 in 6 months, but would love to try a few things out while I can reap the benefits. My biggest insecurities are my double chin and chin fat, larger arms, dark eye bags, uneven lips, and discolored skin. I honestly don’t know much about different types of Botox or fillers, and which are more beneficial/successful than others. What would be good to try?

I’m looking for a gym membership that has flexible hours and ideally allows you to go to any of their locations. I looked up 24 hour fitness as a good option, but their options require a $70 annual fee on top of a $40 a month minimum. I’m fine paying $50 or even $60 a month max, but an annual fee on top of the monthly membership fee is ridiculous to me. What are some good options to explore? I just want to use the weights and maybe the treadmill from time to time and mats. Things like saunas, workout classes, and pools would be a plus but not a must have.

I’m a first time watcher of RHOBH halfway through season 5, and I know that Kim obviously struggles with substance abuse throughout majority of seasons. Do we think that Kyle ever was ever abusing substances or had a drinking problem during the show too?
