My wife and I have been cussing at and to our daughter since she was about 12/13 years old. She’s 16 now and full of attitude. Tonight she pulled some attitude and my response was “what a dickhead”, while my wife said “such an asshole”. Wondering if this is a GenX trait, or are we just horrible parents. Edit: We don’t cuss at her in anger…just in jest.
Recently my wife and I have both returned items using a UPS QR code….essentially hand the item being returned to the UPS clerk and then have them scan the code, get a receipt and leave. Later, Amazon claims the returns never made it back and that they need a UPS tracking number. Unfortunately, the receipts provided by UPS do not show the tracking number. Since Amazon basically has no customer service, there’s no way to fight this, right?
Located 33°25'48.57"N 94°21'24.74"W. Looks like it would be a layout for a massive neighborhood, but New Boston and the surrounding area is sparsely populated. A few tiny structures, all looking the same, are located in the northeast corner. What is this place?

I feel completely hopeless that the United States can ever recover from our current political state. It consumes me to think of how oligarchs have essentially taken over our country and it is being run by one of the most corrupt humans to ever exist. I feel nothing but dread and despair. I’m sure plenty of others feel this way, or have felt this way. How did you overcome it, if you did?
