This was my first monstera, and it started as four plants in one pot. I gave two away and kept two, and they are quickly outgrowing their original spots in my home.

I pass these signs every day in my car and finally had a chance to throw it in park and hop out to grab a photo to see what this was all about.

This is outside a senior living community, but I can’t tell if it’s their property or the city’s.

There is a ton of desert milkweed but not much else I could quickly identify. The space is also suspiciously well-manicured, making me think lots of trimming, leaf blowers, and other cleanup would fully defeat the purpose of the habitat.

Desert willows are one of the few natives that flower through the summer here in Phoenix. Their gorgeous scent and nectar attracts countless types of bugs, and, as a result, the birds that eat them.

This hobby is just the best.

Only booked 30 mins, and I should have done 45 or 60. Heading back in four days to do upper lip and tackle what’s currently left on my chin.

I’m 38 and wish I hadn’t waited so long to start!

These are Sonoran Desert natives and are absolute pollinator MAGNETS for our native species of bees, butterflies, and moths. Keep pesticides and herbicides away from wherever you plant these :)

I’ve noticed both plants appreciate afternoon shade, but water needs have been minimal. The Goodding’s Verbena I currently have in the ground is still blooming with just once weekly watering, and this is its first summer in the ground. I’m beyond impressed with how tough it is.

I’ll probably keep both plants indoors under a plant light until October when I put them in my native pollinator garden, but these can be REALLY tough to find, so I recommend picking them up now if you’re at all interested!!

It’s 113 F (45 C) here, so the pet fountain has been a way better option for hummies, especially with some of my native flowers still blooming for them.

Broken mirror lady on the thigh and sick ass leopard on the elbow. Probably about 6 hours total tattooing.

275 lbs (125 kgs) is my current single rep personal best, and I weigh somewhere between 160-165 lbs (73-75 kgs).

Finallyyyyy starting consultations for a breast lift next month! Im not interested in implants but have toyed with the idea of fat transfer and have started looking into auto-augmentation thanks to this sub.

I have no idea what’s realistic to ask for or expect given where I’m currently at, so that’s hindering me in preparing for conversations, looking for inspo pics, etc.

Would love any advice on approaching my consultations, types of outcomes I could realistically expect, or experiences from folks who did a lift with or without fat transfer!

These are my absolute favorite bird to see here in Phoenix.

In the summer, they become a lot bolder about coming by for water due to the 110-115 F temps (43-45 C), resulting in many more encounters. Such a treat!
