Audio dropouts on WiFi

Affecting LG (& maybe others) using WiFi (LG WOWCAST)

I know there have been LOTS of reports about the audio dropouts and most have attributed it to issues with the software/firmware.

I think it may be an issue with the WiFi.

Does anyone know how to *continuously* monitor a WiFi connection? I know there are apps to check signal strength, etc, but nothing that continuously monitors it. The dropouts do not appear to occur using Bluetooth.

LG S90TR will no longer connect to LG G4

I updated my router firmware, after updating to the latest LG firmware, but now the soundbar will no longer connect to the TV. Initially, it was connecting and disconnecting. Through repeated device deletions and re-adding the soundbar in the app, it now seems "stable", but it will not connect. It *tries* to, and I get the audio chime that indicates it *should* be connecting, but it never does. I've gone through every troubleshooting step I know of (resetting, deleting & re-adding, etc). Very frustrating. 😕

I should also add that both are on the same 2.4 network!

WOWCAST keeps connecting then immediately disconnecting

I've had connection issues in the past, but not like this. Both the G4 & the S90TR are on 2.4. The TV sees the soundbar, connects, then immediately disconnects. I've reset the soundbar, removed it from the TV settings multiple times, but this keeps repeating 😕

"There is an issue with the WOWCAST connection, attempting to reconnect"

LG S90TR defaults to 5.0Ghz

While there is the option to switch, all I ever get is "Network already added" - it never allows me to switch to 2.4. I've even factory reset it. I *always* have an issue with this soundbar whenever there is an issue with my WiFi.

Coil Pack melted on 2019 Outback

We replaced the spark plugs with new brand name Iridium plugs, then replaced the coil packs. A short while later, the car just died. Codes couldn't even be pulled. Had to have the car towed to a repair shop. They said the coil on Cylinder 4 *melted*.

I contacted the manufacturer of the coil packs and they advised that they felt it was an issue with the Ignition Control Module of the ECM. The repair shop disagreed, saying they felt it was only an issue with poor quality coil packs.

Has anyone experienced this issue with their Outback?

Not just an alarm if the temp goes over 93+, but one where you can set the high and low and it will alert if one is violated. Preferably one that also has a Smartphone interface for alerts. Thanks for any suggestions! (I'd prefer a titanium one as opposed to any that use glass).
