Why does no one want the Venue as their next car, even though owners love driving it?
Been driving my Hyundai Venue for a while now and honestly, every drive feels good. Solo trips, family trips, even those random long highway runs, it just does its job well and I enjoy being behind the wheel every single time.
But here’s the strange part. Whenever car conversations come up, whether it’s at family gatherings or random WhatsApp groups, everyone has an opinion on the Venue. Price above this range, gets that. Price below this range, gets something else. People analyse it threadbare when comparing options. But when it comes to actually choosing their next car, almost nobody picks the Venue again.
It’s like the car gets all the attention in spec sheets and price comparisons, but zero loyalty when people are ready to upgrade or switch.
Is this just an India specific car buying mentality where we are always chasing the next badge or bigger size? Or is there something about the Venue ownership experience that owners don’t talk about openly but quietly factor in when it’s time to move on?
Curious to hear from other Venue owners here. Are you switching brands or models for your next car, and if yes, why?
