Added a little sparkle to my clusters ✨

Saw some clusters on Amazon with sequins already attached but after seeing the reviews I decided to diy them myself✨ Lashes are a mix of a few different products— just a run of the mil d-curl 30d clusters, some spikes on the ends, and a few bottoms. Glue is a clear bond and seal with kiss superstick, and attached the sequins with lashtite. Did a little weed leaf moon and star sequin ☺️ Fun set!

CBD gummies and ibeprofin— weird combo but it helped me a whole lot leaving the house today

This is in no way medical advice or a recommendation 😅 — I thought I’d just share it was a coincidence and I felt a bit ok today. I recently started taking CBD for my anxiety and agoraphobia and took a cbd gummy today (with light thc and sativa in it) and also so happened to be on a good bit of ibeprofin for a bad period 😅 Wouldn’t I tell you— I felt quite alright for the first time in a while. Didn’t have near as much anxiety, left the house no problem, and it even helped with my physical symptoms of stomach pain from my anxiety flares. Worked better than my Xanax. Anyway— thoughts? lol

What has your experience been with Xanax/benzos for agoraphobia?

It seems to be the only thing that takes the edge off enough for me to get out of the house during the early stages of this housebound phase. I’m just on a super low dose as needed. Have you tried them? How have they worked for you?

Period came oddly early on my first month of lex— Has lex impacted your menstrual cycle at all?

Thought I was experiencing my normal nervous stomach from agoraphobia before going out, and was suprised to see my period started about a week early. Usually from meds it’s not uncommon to see your period delayed a bit until your body adjusts, but it’s odd for me to come a little early. Ladies— has your menstrual cycle been impacted by lexapro? Thanks!

I remember times as a young child already I was nervous about finding a restroom and worked myself to sickness before going out… did I have agoraphobia all this time?

23F here who has really been struggling with anxiety for the past 8 years, agoraphobia gradually over the past few years, and a breakdown over the past month that triggered my agoraphobia to the point I’m pretty much housebound now. I was wondering when this all began— as it seemed to onset gradually over the past few years, and now all at once. Like I mentioned in the title— I remember as a child being “anxious”— working myself to sickness before field trips, big events, and bathroom checking constantly as a young child. (My agoraphobia now revolves around gastrointestinal systems and having to find a restroom all the time when I’m out!) But anyway ~ and I think I answered my own question, did I have this thing my whole life??

So um… when does your libido come back (if it does)

Female here for reference— I’ve been on lex for I think around 3 weeks now, and the only side effect that has lasted I believe is bye bye libido. I just have no interest. Just looking for other’s experiences— women especially, but men I’d like to hear from you too! Thanks!

Any recommendations of apps y’all use to help your agoraphobia?

Just as the title says— Any apps that help you stay on track with your exposure hierarchy, breathwork, panic attacks, CBT, etc.. I sometimes use the Finch app for just general mental health, but am looking for something more agoraphobia focused. Thanks!

Anyone else feel great at night and then like a prisoner to your agoraphobia in the morning?

I find myself feeling pretty good and invincible at night, like I could do most anything. Then the morning hits, I wake, and I can’t go out the door. Why is this? Anyone else? Small steps at a time!

Need recommendations for a “benzo light” (+ is buspirone as needed effective for this purpose?)

Basically, at first, in addition to daily lexapro, I was prescribed buspirone as a a PRN (as needed, not daily). After doing research, I saw this drug is not commonly prescribed as a prn, and went back to my doc and asked for a benzo again, and was given Xanax as a prn, too. My question is— should I discontinue the buspirone as needed now that I have the xans, or continue to use the buspirone for my more minimal attacks? (I only have 10 Xanax at this time) Or, should I ask for a more effective prn, so I don’t have to rely on the Xanax all of the time? Essentially, a ‘benzo light’? I have heard about proponayl and Paxil, etc. but not sure if they are for this purpose, that’s why I’m asking :) For reference, I have severe anxiety and agoraphobia and use the prn during these initial steps of exposure as I try to leave the house. Any advice on these prn meds and recommendations are welcome! Thanks

Are any of you still capable to work? Does anyone get disability? Help needed!!

I was just wondering what other people with this do— This has had me homebound for a bit, and I fear I won’t be able to go back to an in person job in quite a while. I do have a small online job, but it’s project based and about done. I’m only bringing in a few dollars a week at this time. Has anyone qualified for disability? Or have any recommendations of online work? For reference, I’m only 23, and have pretty much only worked part time my whole life because of my debilitating mental issues, so I don’t even know if I could qualify. I also have over 2,000 saved, I’m not sure if that is still a disqualifier for disability. I don’t know what to do. My options right now feel like disability, get married to my partner for a bit of financial stability, or get into online sex work :/ I feel so lost.

My safe space has shrunken to only my bedroom ;( please help me

No matter what I try I only seem to get worse. I just want to give up. I didn’t eat, shower, or get out of bed today until just now. My mental health has been a struggle for the past 8 years, but I’ve really been showing signs of anxiety my whole life. The past couple years, I started getting nervous in specific settings outside the home, getting a stomach ache, etc— but didn’t yet know about agoraphobia. The past couple weeks it has progressed, and now I can’t even go to work or my boyfriends house. Why does everything only get worse? Now I have this phobia? Why? My stomach hurts with just the thought of leaving my house. How can I work? Who is going to take care of me? I have too much saved for disability, but I definitely cannot live on my savings the rest of my life. I can’t live like this. Things only get worse. I feel absolutely hopeless.

My first experience ever with cbd — here’s my order from CBDfx

A little while ago I asked on some other subs about what products and places people would recommend for a newbie to cbd. I picked up this broad spectrum vape, full spectrum vape, and gummies. Didn’t try the gummies yet, but I seem to enjoy the vapes! Everything was around I think 30$ each, but I chose subscribe and save which brought everything down to around 25$ each with free shipping, and they were running a $30 off deal with brought everything down to a little over $50 for everything. Feel free to share your thoughts— on these products, others, this company, and others. I think I’ll be on the hunt for possibly cbd flower and pre rolls next. Recommendations welcome!

As for the crippling anxiety, I think this did take a little of my edge off today (but the prescription xan definitely aided in that as well, lol!)

I need recommendations for online psychiatrists— please help!

Just as the title says— I have pretty severe anxiety and agoraphobia currently which is seriously hindering my ability to leave the house and get the care I need. I already go to a therapist and GP, but would like the input of a psychiatrist who can give me a little more input on my current medication regime— (Lexapro, buspirone as a prn, Xanax as a prn) For context, I’m based in the US. I heard of places like Better Help and such for therapists, but I’m not sure if they have psychiatrists also. I’d be grateful for any help! I’m just looking for someone who is personable, I would probably prefer a woman but doesn’t have to be, and someone who isn’t afraid of medications and prescribing benzos if they are needed. As affordable as possible is a must, and that works with Aetna insurance. Thank you so much! Any advice is appreciated.

When your agoraphobia flares up, is it best to stay in and give up or force yourself to go out?

Just as the title says— (and I think I may already know the answer)— This thing really kicked into high gear for me over the past few weeks, and at this time I’m not able to leave the house. I know staying in is just giving in to it, but going out also feels impossible. What do you guys do? What do you recommend for healing? I suppose I could start slow with short walks, etc. before I throw myself to the wolves fully. Any tips? Is it best to fight this thing or give yourself grace and stay in for a while? Thanks guys! (Also note: I recently started lexapro for anxiety and do have access to buspirone and Xanax as a prn)

Agoraphobia main trigger is the proximity and accessibility to a restroom which in turn causes nervous diarrhea — anyone else?/advice needed!

Just as the title said. My agoraphobia has really kicked off over the past month. My whole life since a child i remember mild anxiety triggers, including even as a young child worrying about the proximity to being at a restroom if I need it. This agoraphobia has really ramped up over the last month, and now I can not leave the house. Nothing in general terrible happened lately, except my father was in a motorcycle accident, which I believe put me in constant fight or flight which gave me diarrhea that day, and I don’t think I ever got back out of fight or flight fully. I had to take a medical leave from work because of this anxiety and agoraphobia. It’s crippling. I worry about finding a restroom when I am out, which in turn turns into diarrhea. My safe space has dwindled, with now me getting nervous and sick even being at home. Ugh. I need recommendations. I need help. Recommendations of treatments, meds, and how to better <3 Anyone similar this? Thanks guys
