I know it was to keep the plot going, but don't you think it's weird that Hilda still wanted to help get David's shoes back even after the rough days and nights she and Twig went through? So she and Twig can have more time with each other.

Like, what if there was a scene where Frida and David knocked on Hilda's door and she tells them that there was a family emergency earlier (or at least said, "Something happened"). And asked them that she needs some space.

Or if we got a scene where Hilda tells Frida and David about the time Twig ran away, not only Frida and David apologize to both of them about what happened, they somehow remember that she and Twig wanted to help get David's shoes back and they would say something like, "Hilda. It's nice that you still wanted to help get (David's/my) shoes back and we're happy that Twig came back to stay. But you and Twig still had a really rough day and night. If you told us that something bad happened, we would've gave you two some space for a couple days so you guys can have more time with each other. We don't want to bother you and Twig.". And then we get Hilda's response saying that they're right and thanks them for being considerate (unless Hilda's response would be something like, "It wasn't just the shoes, it was for spending time with you guys. You guys are Twig's friends too, and he wanted to spend time with you because he missed you guys too. Right boy?" and Twig replies back with a bark as his way of saying, "Yes")

If Johanna did let Frida and David help in The Mountain King movie, what kind of scenes would you want to see to make their roles better?

Examples:

A scene where Frida and David see how worried Johanna is, they start doing something to comfort her (example: holding her hand). Johanna then starts to imagine/hallucinate Frida and David as Hilda showing that she sees them as the extra kids she's never had

A scene where it was getting dark and everyone starts heading home to find Hilda in the morning, Frida and David ask Johanna and the others if it's okay if they can spend the night at their home so they can be ready tomorrow morning in which they agree. Maybe a scene where they knock on Johanna's bedroom door and ask if it's okay if they can sleep with her and she agrees and it helped Johanna sleep when she was unable to do it before they knocked on her door

When Frida and David talked about how this all happened because she, Hilda, and Twig got stuck inside the mountain and ask Johanna how did they all got stuck in there in the first place. After Johanna tells them what happened, they apologize for stealing Hilda from her (while they reveal that Hilda told them about when Twig ran away for also being neglected too and blamed themselves for spending too much time with Hilda). Frida and David tells everyone that after they find Hilda, they can give her some space for a while so they can have more time with her. Johanna and the others tells them not to do that and they're not blaming them for being Hilda's best friends while they show affection to Frida and David (examples: Johanna pats their heads, Twig licks their faces, etc.)

Do you wish we got to see Frida and David's reaction to Hilda tells them about her argument with her mom that caused the events of The Stone Forest and The Mountain King?

Like, not only Frida and David tells Hilda it was really harsh of what she said to her mom, but also a nice long conversation they had with Hilda. Frida and David tells Hilda why she never told mom about that Frida is doing magic and that she's her familiar. Or they remind her about The Beast of Cauldron Island episode events where she was feeling left out the first time which led to Hilda being grounded. They also remind Hilda when she told them about The Deerfox events about Twig running away because he was feeling left out too and how Hilda resolved it quickly.

Maybe it could work as an episode like Frida wants to get a new familiar so she doesn't ask Hilda for help whenever she has a family emergency so she doesn't become a bother. Or that Frida decides to lie to Hilda that she's busy with something else so she can get things herself instead of asking Hilda to do it.

Or what if Frida and David has a private conversation to Johanna and Twig (because they started blaming themselves for Twig running away for spending too much time with Hilda) where they go up to them and says Hilda told them about how they were feeling left out and lead to those tragic events. Frida and David tells them that they never realized they're Hilda's only human friends and tells them they can give Hilda some space for a while for being a bother. Until Johanna tells them not to do that and she & Twig shows affection to them for showing they're not blaming them.

Anyways I just wish we had a season 3 episode about Frida's magic training and wants to know what they'll do to prevent something like that will happen again

Do you think we should've had an event that took place between The Mountain King and The Train to Tofoten about Frida and David learned about Hilda's argument with her mom that caused the whole mess?

Like, not only they learned about Johanna feeling left out like in The Beast of Cauldron Island episode; but it reminded them about when Hilda told them the events of The Deerfox episode where he was feeling left out too. Frida and David then started realizing they've never seen Hilda hang out with other kids at school nor Sparrow Scouts. They start blaming themselves for being a bother to Johanna and Twig. It could act like an episode that's either:

  1. Frida and David come across an adventure but they don't want to ask Hilda for help because they don't want to bother her but mostly her family. Until they eventually ran into Hilda and her family later on.

  2. Frida and David starts looking for the perfect presents for Johanna and Twig to show their appreciation for them and as an apology to them.

  3. Another episode where Hilda goes missing and Johanna actually lets them come along. But Frida and David starts getting quiet and nervous around Johanna and Twig & also becomes overprotective

Or what if it works as a scene where they knock on the door and Johanna answers it. Frida and David says, "We're not here to see Hilda, can we come in and have a word with you?". They sat down and talk to Johanna and Twig (maybe with Alfur and Tontu listen for more support) and says that Hilda told them everything about her argument on wanting to spend more time with them and when Twig ran away for being taken for granted. And they said they blame themselves for those events while also saying they wish they could've been there to help find Twig and show their appreciation for him. While also talk about they're Hilda's only human friends and says, "If we're too much of a bother, we can give Hilda some space for a while so you guys can have more time with her". Then we get everyones' response where Johanna tells them not to do that and says they're not blaming them for being Hilda's best friends. Then they show affection to Frida and David while Johanna tells them about The Deerfox events that Twig is her and Hilda's responsibility if anything happens to him and Johanna says she never got to thank them about rescuing them from being trapped in a mountain.

Would this work as an episode about Frida and David learn about the events of The Deerfox episode and wants to do something to be a better friend to Twig?

Like, when they were walking home; they start thinking what if it were partially their faults why Twig ran away in the first place for spending too much time with Hilda and that they should've told her to bring Twig along. They also talked about how they wish they could've been there to help Hilda find Twig and show Twig their appreciation by going through so much trouble for him. The plot can be:

  1. Frida and David thinks about getting a pet so Twig can have new friends to hang out with whenever they and Hilda are too busy with school and Sparrow Scouts. After their parents said no, they find a stray animal in an alley they've decide to take care but it was really a demon that started wrecking havoc at night. Then when Hilda and Twig arrive, Frida and David tells them the truth on why they did it and Hilda cheers them up by telling them that they didn't need to do that while Twig shows affection to both of them.

  2. During an adventure in the wilderness there's either a thunderstorm, snowstorm, or fog and the group got separated leaving Frida, David, and Twig by themselves while Hilda was picked up by Johanna and forced her to stay home until the weather clears up so she can find the others. When they were trying to find food and shelter, Frida and David starts becoming overprotective to Twig and becomes selfless while Twig shows concerns. After they find a cave for shelter and gather around a small fire. They decide to tell Twig the truth about what Hilda told them and tells him that they blame themselves for his reason running away, that they wish they could've been there to show their concerns and appreciation for him, and says, "We just wanted to be better friends with you, Twig". After that, Twig shares his food with them and lies down on one of their lap showing that he's not blaming them.
