Car is a 2014 Honda civic with the 5 speed manual transmission. A couple days ago, while I was driving, the gear selector bound up almost completely. I had to push or pull as hard as I could to get it into gear. First gear was completely unusable because it was so stiff. parked it and drove it about 5 hours later, and it was perfectly fine. Gear selector felt perfectly fine, shifted smoothly and everything. Nothing like that has happened before or since. Is this something I should be worried about?

I can’t get into BOB right now. Is there a deadline to apply for tuition reimbursement before college starts?

Why did Kelsier work with Clubs and Breeze in his crew? Clubs was a soldier for the lord ruler and breeze is a nobleman. He’s shown to believe anyone who is or works for nobility should be killed. Wouldn’t they both be the kind of person Kelsier would delight in slaughtering, much less work with?

I very explicitly told them not to put me in the all male dorm. My exact words were “I’d rather live in a tent than (dorm name)”. But that’s were they assigned me. It sounds absolutely miserable, like living in a giant frat house. I really hope i can get out as soon as possible.

I love arcades. Especially pinball. Theres so many good arcades in Pittsburgh. It would be really fun to meet someone people close to my age. Most of the time I play pinball I’m the youngest person by a good margin 😅

As in the phone number area code. In Pittsburgh, 412 is a symbol of the city. A lot of local businesses use 412 in their branding. Theres even a kennywood ride called area 412. Is this a thing in other American cities?

In How I met your Mother they use 7 digit phone numbers. The show is set in 2005, so by then you would’ve had to used 10 digit numbers, right? At least in a big city like New York. Sorry if this is a dumb question, I know nothing about telecommunications 😅

I’ve been going back and forth between short term, short term open to long, and long term open to short. Right now, I’ve never been in a relationship. I’m still looking for what I want in a partner. So I’m not necessarily dating to look for the one to marry. But I don’t feel like I’m doing something casual at all. An emotional connection is super important to me, not just a causal relationship focused on physical intimacy. I’m not opposed to an LTR, but I also dont see it happening, and I don’t feel like short term describes what I want either. Based on that, what should I put as my relationship intentions?

Just want to make sure I understand correctly. All of my online dating profiles, other than FB dating, have gotten zero likes for several weeks. If I have zero likes and continue to get zero likes, then I’ll get any matches, will I?

It’s been over 3 and a half years since the last time I went out with a friend. We went to a reptile show and played video games at my house. Since then, nothing but “I’d love to, but I’m busy” or “maybe next time” but they’re always busy and there’s never a next time. When this time, finally I had not one, but two friends going out with me. But of course it was too good to be true. They both just cancelled at the last minute. When will I be enough for anyone to spend time with me?

I know the title is pessimistic but I don’t mean it to be. Most of the time my profiles have zero likes. So no matter how much I swipe right, I’m not gonna match at all. So there isn’t really a point, unless I have active likes right? Just don’t wanna spend my time on something that will ultimately be fruitless.
