Do you think the hate Gavin Newsom gets is to much at times?

Now I want to preface this by saying that this isn't about 2028 or whether you think he's a good politician or not. I understood that not everybody likes him and that's fine. And I think criticism is fine as long as it's warranted. But there are times where I sometimes think that criticism goes into hate. What I mean is whenever I see comments about him where it's more than just I don't want him to be president or he's just a corporate democrat. I was in another thread and I saw a comment saying that they hoped that he slipped up and ignited a whistleblower scandal that ruins him. It's one thing to dislike his policies but there are people literally wishing that he does something illegal or unethical to ruin his career. I wouldn't be surprised if there are more people who think like this.

And that's not the only comment like that, last month when the allegations about Eric Swalwell came there was an article about how Newsom still hadn't endorsed anyone for the governors race. I saw a comment joking that he probably was going to endorse Swalwell. Only for someone to reply saying they wish he did so it would ruin his presidential campaign(which he hasn't announced yet). And again this is an example of how it's more than disliking him for his policies and going into just hating him.

I also made another post about him about a different topic and someone said while they didn't like him they said the hate he gets is overblown and that they had to delete blue sky because they said he wasn't as bad as ICE. Now like I said people don't have to like him but some of the hate I've seen him get goes into being obsessive and disturbing. Though I should point out these are only Reddit comments but it wouldn't surprise me if there were more comments like this on Reddit or other apps.

So do you agree that the hate Newsom gets is to much at times and goes more into just policies?

Do you think Trump is trying to make a West Asia/North Africa(Middle East)version of NATO

I had looked this up earlier and saw that he did try to expand NATO to the Middle East back in his first term. I also think he's doing this to mostly combat against Iran and the Irgc proxies. What are your thoughts?

Your personal Sentai pet peeves?

It doesn't even have to be anything major just something that really annoys you. For me it's whenever the fandom get the Kakuranger's names wrong usually calling them Kaku red or Kaku white and I'm just there yelling it's Ninja and Ninja white. What's yours?

Why do people think other countries (or their governments more specifically)or terroist groups can't have any agency?

Now what I mean by this is whenever I often see talks on geopolitica issues especially in countries in west asia(the Middle East) and terrorist groups attack other countries or the Irgc killing funding said terroist groups I often see people say well it's the US and Europe's fault as well as any country allied with the US and Europe. They often say if they constantly didn't meddle in the Middle East it wouldn't happen. And while I won't deny that is most likely true I don't think that automatically gives any of these guy a pass.

It still doesn't change the fact that they've still committed atrocities. Take 9/11 for example while I won't deny America constantly interfering with the Middle East either it be in proxy wars or helping with coup d'état lead to anti American sentiment which culminated in 9/11 but that doesn't justify the fact that Osama Bin Landen and Al Queda killed thousands of people it might explain it but it doesn't justify it. Or when it comes to Isis yeah Bush choosing to invade Iraq was the catalyst for they're rise but it doesn't change the fact that they've still committed still atrocities in Iraq and other countries or that they've attacked Paris. And then he have Hamas whenever I see discussion about Oct 7th I often see people say that the war didn't start on Oct 7th and that it started in 1948 and that Palestine has had to deal with decades of occupation. Which while yeah that's bad it doesn't excuse them killing people. And this isn't me justifying what Israel did after either just pointing out how ridiculous that sounds.

So what are your thoughts do you agree with me or not?

What are your thoughts on Gavin Newsom is "right wing" talking point?

Now this discussion is not on whether you think he will be the democratic nominee in 2028 or whether you would vote for him in the primary election I get that people don't like him and don't want him as president. I'm simply asking your thoughts on when people say he's DINO(Democrat in name only) or that he's right center, republican lite, I even saw a comment saying voting for him would just be voting for another republican.

Now whenever I see this on Reddit(especially the politics Reddit) I believed this to be true but after doing research on some things he's accomplished I was a to see he's signed a lot of progressive laws that have benefited people in California. So what are your thoughts?
