Vi er pt på ferie i et lejet sommerhus i Frankrig. I huset er der et nyere smartTV som tilsyneladende har airplay.

Knægten vil gerne se noget fodbold, og mit spørgsmål er. Er der nogen større sikkerheds risiko ved at se kampene via AirPlay fra hans iPad til TVet i feriehuset ?

Det er via et WiFi som er sikret med kode. Og jeg er ret sikker på vi er de eneste på netværket.

Help me calm down my son. He just bought a pair of Mizuno Morelia Neo 5 made I Japan FG. A pair of boots he's been wanting a long time and saved up to buy.

At the first match there was a sudden change of field and they ended up playing on an AG field instead of a FG.

Now hes really worried that he has ruined his new boots. And claim that the heat from the AG field can harm the glue attaching the soles.

Now.. what are you guys experience. Can a single match on an AG field ruin a pair of FG boots?

It seems that when I'm using MS Authenticator it have changed a bit.

Before I should pick the right number out of 3 possibilities. Now I have to manually type the right number on a numpad that pops up.

Any of you guys experience the same? Or is there something wrong with me authenticaticator?

My son just bought a pair of Mizuno Morelia Neo 5 boots. They should be made with leather, and since they are not exactly cheap. I would like to hear if any of you guys have any experience wrh care and maintenance.

Should the leather be treated with any kind of leather care/balm.

Jeg har et lidt spøjst problem med at logge ind på min Windows 365 på nettet.

Hver evig eneste gang jeg logger på, kommer den ned en fejlmeddelelse om fejl på min adgangsnøgle. Kan så prøve igen 2 sekunder efter og den logger ind uden problemer. Jeg kan derefter logge ind og ud uden problemer resten af dagen.

Lige indtil dagen efter hvor den igen kommer med samme fejl, og selvfølgelig igen virker perfekt 2 gang og resten af dagen. Og sådan gentager det sig.

Jeg er ret bekymret for om det kan være et tegn på en eller anden form for virus eller malware på min computer. Men har lavet en bunke fulde scanninger med F-secure, og en enkelt fuld scanning med ESET online scanner. Ingen har fundet noget.

Jeg logger altid ind på den samme computer, og bruger altid min Windows live pinkode.

Hvad siger i. Kan der være en harmløs fejl. Eller tegn på noget ondsindet ?

For noget tid siden begyndte jeg at få mails fra Microsoft med engangs koder til login jeg ikke havde bestilt. Jeg går ud fra at nogen på en eller anden måde er komme i besiddelse at brugernavn og kode. Slog MFA til og ændrede adgangskoden og siden er det fået i sig selv. Jeg har senere slået 2FA/MFA til på andre kontoer også.

Dette har jo så efterladt mig med en masse gendannelseskoder som på en eller anden måde skal opbevares. Jeg vil gerne undgå at have dem liggende fysisk da man jo desværre kan blive udsat for indbrud.

Og nu til sagen. Ud fra et sikkerhedsmæssigt perspektiv. Er det så forsvarligt at opbevare dem digitalt på en proton drive konto(som også er beskyttet af 2FA. Og samtidig oploade til til det lager man har i sin eBoks?

Tænker at gå den måde har man altid adgang til dem

The last month I've had a bit annoying issue.

​

I'm using the webbased office 365. And at the first login attempt of the day, I get a fault message that says "Something went wrong. There was a problem signing in with your passkey"

I click try again, and it logs in right away. Then I can work for hours logging in and out. And all is fine until the next time I turn on the computer and log in. Sometimes the day after or sometimes a week after.

​

It ain't really that annoyingz because it always logs In at second attempt. But I'm worried it's a sign of something sketchy on my computer. Or that maybe I will loose access totally at some time. The passkey is used with windows live, and I use the pin code I also use when turning on the computer.

Never experience any issues when logging in on my phone.

​

What do you guys say. Does it sound like I got something sketchy on my computer?

På arbejdet stødte jeg til og hjalp med en hurtig opgave med at male en væg. Da vi går og maler studser vi over det lugter ret sært og surt, og kollegaen fortæller at der også var noget mug på toppen af malingen da han hev låget af.

Dagen efter har jeg fået influenza symptomer/hosten og feber.

Er jeg paranoid, eller kan der være en sammenhæng og malingen var giftig at bruge ?

Gik og malede en times tid 🤔

A while back i was one of many who received an email from Microsoft with a one time code i did not order. That scared me a bit that i was a victim of some kind of hacker, spyware, malware or what other kind of dirt that can infect computers and phones.

I have mostly bin worried that my laptop was infected. Not that I'm using it for anything dirty(I know..but really, I don't)

So the last couple of weeks I've made a lot of full scans with F-secure and one full scan with Eset online scanner. And neither have found anything.

So.. is it safe to assume my laptop is home safe and free from any kind of dirt ?

And can I assume that the Eset online scanner is safe and not an issue itself?

Hallo all.

I'm one of those who got one of the mails from MS with a one time code I didn't ask for.

That made me a bit nervous of being hacked. I have checked my account a couple of times a day to see if any changes is made on the account( there is not)

But the last couple of days when logging in on my laptop, I get this message

Something went wrong. There was a problem signing in with your passkey

Then I can try again right after and everything is fine.

Is this a sign of virus or someone from outside messing with my computer ,?

Hi all.

After i got one of the unwanted emails from Microsoft with a one time code. I've bin a bit worried about getting hacked.

I gotte admit I'm a bit edgy about and. And suddenly this evening Microsoft stopped asking the normal question "do you wanna stay logged in"

I still need to use either Authenticator or the pinkode on my laptop.

Is this a sign someone is messing with my account ?

Hallo all.

Many years ago i used an antivirus called Panda security. I remember it as descent, but am not really the one to judge.

Recently i got some emails from them with some advertising, the mail they came from looked legit, so I pressed the link.

It brought me to a homepage that should be there official website.

My issue is that the homepage just looks so old fashion and stink of scam just by looking at it. Blinking banners with a count down for special offers. Cheap colours and just not very pro looking.

And now I'm wondering. Was I led into a scam site. Or is that really there official website.

I won't link to it. But maybe you guys know it. Or are willing to Google it.

Hallo guys.

Thursday morning I received an email from Microsoft with a one time code indicating someone was trying to log into my ms account. The mail looked legit. But the code didn't get any use due to me still sleeping when it came.

The first thing i did was to change the password and activate 2FA.

I checked login history, and as far as i can tell, the only logins was from my own ip number, and the time matche with my own logins.

So far I haven't noticed anything being wrong or indicating that anyone has acces.

But what do you guys think. Am i home safe ?

Can i assume my account is untouched ?

And is it safe to assume they actually had my password ?

Reading this great sub. I understand that automatic watches can loose/gain quite some time.

The lack of accuracy in a watch missing 10-20 seconds a day would start bother me pretty fast. So I'm wondering. You guys wearing automatics, how often do you adjust the time ?

I little while ago bought a quartz conquest that I really enjoy.

It recently disappeared from there website, and it seems it might be discontinued due to a new quartz conquest being released.

But how does it effect acces to parts and repairs in the future. Will i be in a situation in 5 or 10 years where i can't get new caliber or other parts for it ?
