[homemade] Chicken Stir Fry

My kids grabbed some rice noodles and honey and asked me to make something with it. I used some ingredients I already had at home - so this is not an authentic dish (no set recipe), but it turned out good. I seared the chicken, then added minced ginger, veggies, lime juice, soy sauce, honey, tossed in the noodles and cilantro.

Venison Stroganoff

Added a little smoked paprika and red pepper flakes to give it a more southern flavor and complement the gaminess of the venison.

Belated date night pics.

We try and get out together at least once a week just for some time alone together away from kids and work. Sadly, the older we get, we’re usually home by 10p, even on the weekends. Last weekend, we partied hard until almost 11.

When the restaurant manager (Japanese restaurant) offers to pour you a complementary whiskey , and comes out with this. Wow!!

1st attempt at Charro Beans

Too much chorizo, tomatoes could have been diced smaller, and too much adobe sauce (too smoky). It was still good, but I will be happier with them when I try again. I’d welcome any additional tips.
