Hello, lost inexpensive beige headphones at LIDL on 14/09/2026. It's a long shot but I would appreciate it if some one found them

The EU Publications Office used to have an excellent service where you can pay a small fee to get the physical copy of the document/booklet delivered directly to your house. This has since been discontinued. Do you know a service, preferably in Belgium, where I can have these booklets printed and bound online and delivered home (in Belgium)? Thanks

Can you recommend a place to study near rue livorne/rue louise, or a few metro stops away (maybe Troon?) with my laptop?

Hi, are any of you selling a dvd player inside the ring? Not an external drive for the laptop, but one that connects directly to the screen/television without the use of a laptop.

I have installed google play games on my lenovo laptop, and the games work ok-ish. However I have the same game installed in my phone and my laptop but the progress i make on my phone is not reflected on my laptop, and vice-versa. It is the same google account.

How do you sync them? I googled it but the options in the instructions were not visible on my phone. IDK if the info was old, like pre-2020.

I've been looking for inspiration on how to pivot and move out of Belgium as well. I've been trying for a long time but I am determined to move out of Belgium permanently directly for a new job.

I don't particularly want to move to where my parents are (mostly in Italy), and the opportunities I applied for were not very solid anyway. I have given up on Spain (even though i am a near-native speaker) due to conditions, salary, no one answering the job applications etc, no one is answering on EURES either.

I have eliminated Greece, Portugal all the "nice hot spots" an option for now, which leaves the "usual suspects," The Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg and I've interviewed with Poland and NL. I trawl LinkedIn sometimes and see other people's trajectory, to see if I can draw inspiration.

Personally, offline, I only met people who have given up and either moved back with their parents or moved to their spouse's country/job. Some of them move for another degree.

I'm 36 for reference, and though I may not have the same background as you, I would love to hear your story. You can DM me if it's too personal to post here.

As the title says What are the rights/compensation for tenants if construction begins next door at unbearable levels? Non stop drilling, banging, of course with ear plugs in you can hear it and feel the vibrations, it feels like it's directly in the wall next to me. Who can I contact to get full information on this, and possibly a lowering of my rent?

Everywhere I've lived in Belgium, it's incredibly dark indoors, even with all the lights on, I think it's the quality of the lightbulbs. I have a net of fairy lights from Amazon, what other products do you suggest to lighten the place up? Thanks

Have any of you participated in real initiatives concerning the abolition of "noreply" e-mails? Aside from the fact that it is rude and useless, "EU citizens have a legal right to request information about their data or demand its deletion. If a company sends an automated email and blocks the user from replying to exercise these rights, they can be heavily fined for obstructing consumer rights" yet they keep existing.

I was wondering if you know of any organisation actually working towards abolishing these? Do you recommend one?

Even when it's just to go down the road to the store or to rhe park for a walk with headphones. I know it's ironic, it's unhealthy to isolate, yet when there are free and cheap social events nearby it feels like walking through wet cement to make yourself go. I only go when my food is mouldy or the house is completely empty. Even then I think I would order take away, I just can't justify the cost.

Some times I think I should just get up in the morning and go straight ti the park, no coffee or anything.

Earlier this year an announcement came out that supermarkets can stay open on Sundays. I check the websites now and then but see no update, in the stores they say the usual, we're open Monday to Saturday. Anybody know when supermarkets will open on Sundays now?

I don't know about everyone else but I have started cringing at my own interviews. I try to practice in advance, I write notes, yet when I finish I think "ugh my voice" "I can't believe I didn't ask that." etc
