Does anybody know anyone who can draw well/likes to draw?
I have a possible art project for my apartment! Was looking if anybody knows anybody who’s a talented artist or would like to draw

There's a role on WilmerHale's Information Services team in DC (Tech not legal side, I know I’m posting in the biglaw sub though, apologies) that's honestly my dream job. I know it's a big firm, but was curious if anyone here works there or knows the IS/tech side at all?
Would love to hear what the team and culture are actually like and any advice for someone trying to break in. It’s been a soul crushing 7 months, hope everyone is having a good Fourth of July in the US, thanks!
I have a remote hybrid job that if I plan around is very manageable and easy to do. Currently 15k in the hole. With my first biweekly checks from my morning job and the night shift checks I’ll be debt free in 2 months. I’m not looking forward to genuinely not sleeping like a human (not sleeping at all really) and not being able to go out at all or live in society for two months. But the feeling of debt feels like I can’t even live my life anyways so whatever.
I start my second job within two weeks my head keeps playing scenarios about how awful this two months are going to be but genuinely cannot afford to drag this for months or years like some people.
I need this job it’s night shift 11pm-7am all on the weekends. I have a degree and sent my resume in, as a manager at amazon and currently a process management/coordinator. Any advice on how to land the job successfully?
Been a rough year and I’m starting to feel a little crazy about it. I do IT project management and I cannot land anything right now. Not sure if it’s the field or the fact that I don’t have a clearance, but it feels straight up impossible out here.
I know it’s bad everywhere, but is it hitting DC people harder? How’s everyone else doing? What are you actually seeing out there?
Not going to lie, it’s been messing with my head. Just trying to figure out if it’s me or if we’re all in the same boat.
Just applied for an IT position. Under Armour is a dream company for me, when I was younger, Kevin came to speak at my school and really made me want to be part of something like it. Not sure what my chances are of landing a role like this, but I’m genuinely curious how it is to work there. It’s been a really brutal depressing job search and this seems like something I can do.
I am making an art piece! I don’t know a lot about Smiskis but would anyone recommend a Smiski that has the perfect pose for holding up a balloon? I have DIY balloons I bought, I want to attach them to the Smiskis hand !!!!
Any advice? Just picked it up today.
I made a post two days ago asking if anyone in my area saw this shelf for a good price. Drove 2 hours to pick it up and had some great food in the city. Shout out Reddit & my boy Scott. Can’t wait to add in some good wood and bring it back to life, was seriously considering paying 300$ something for it lol.
Shot in the dark but I’ve been looking for this type of shelf for over a year now. I’ve been on Facebook all the time can’t find anything, anyone know anyone/shop?
Last week on Saturday I signed my offer letter. Passed my background check and submitted my drug test forms/did my physical, I believe last week on Wednesday. So far I haven’t heard a single thing back on anything no word. Is this normal? Thinking of going in again to check on the app but wanted to see others on the process.
What’s the consensus live on upper east coast can’t find anything like it. Even the dupes are more than it
I’ve got a final-round panel coming up for a Project Manager, Technology role at a mid-sized nonprofit/membership org. First two rounds were a recruiter screen and a 1:1 with the hiring manager (an IT director who id be reporting to). The final is an in-person panel, and I just got the names/titles. Trying to figure out what each person is likely to focus on so I can prep accordingly.
The panel:
• Hiring manager — IT Director. The person I’d report to. Already met her 1:1.
• Engineering Manager / Senior Project Manager a practicing senior PM.
• A second Eng Manager / Senior PM
• Senior Director of Technology
I’m not going to lie all these senior level titles are intimating me. Not sure how rough this is going to be any advice? Should I ask the recruiter what to expect? Role is 3-5 years experience
Always wanted to get into house plants, with my new room wanted something beautiful. I have no idea what plants would complement the space. I plan on adding hanging plants where you see the red highlight dots on the ceiling, and one big huge plant that’s a long red highlight. Will ad two more plants on the right side as well. Any advice? New to all this, thanks!!! I do like hanging
I have a panel interview with my potential boss and her team. I had a 1 on 1 with HR and second round meeting with just her (she’s the hiring manager and Director who id be reporting to) now I have a final in person meeting with her and her team, a person has the same role as me.
Would it be ok to ask the Recruiter/Hr lady on what I would expect? We just coordinated a time through email I wanted to follow up asking what I should expect or is that not good?
Love the color, look and style. It’s not going in a bathroom if that matters. If only the shipping wasn’t insane. A lot of blue glass mosaics just don’t look like this.
Realizing I’m doing well in every other part of the interview. I need to get better at the behavioral questions and stories that frame into what they ask. Any advice! I’ve been using AI to run it, like what would you do if you have a difficult stakeholder, etc. please help need a job lol
