The concept of holding a grudge the entire game because of bans.
Let me preface this by saying I am a nearly champ Gambit main so you know I of all people can talk about this LMAO.
Had a game, diamond 3. For once, off rip, it was a balanced team: 2 tanks, dps, supports. Now you could tell one of the tanks obv didn’t wanna be tank but such is life. I pick gambit so he doesn’t get banned but eventually I go Luna for our Emma, other support picks CND.
One of our dps bans cnd, we try and counter ban but it goes through. Shit happens, may have been a misclick? The other support goes Jeff, champ too. Jeff on Anubis map wouldn’t have been my personal choice but if you can play Jeff defensively go for it.
With a measly minute left from overtime on our push the dps who banned cnd says- doesn’t ask but says: “Jeff can you switch you’re doing nothing.” Silence. Then, Jeff speaks: “you shouldn’t have banned cloak and dagger.”
Why. Why, do people take bans so personally to the actual detriment of the game being winnable? I get it, your main gets banned it SUCKS but you mean to tell me you genuinely have NO BACKUP besides a character that isn’t working?? Jeff is environmental, he’s a great healer and his ult is devastating when he has a ledge or access to spawn easily, ain’t shit on Anubis he can use like that😭.
All this because a bannable character got banned and someone took it personally. You have another game after this if you choose to play it, you’ll be able to play your main eventually just don’t throw the game because for 12 minutes of your life you can’t play your main😭.
