So I bought an Opal Mini, and out of the box it had at first I thought a soap smell, Did 10 cycles of cleaning out etc, still faint but ice was fine. Next morning turn it on, the ice bin has a strong secnt of the smell along with being able to taste it in my drink.

Figured out its the ice tray at the top where the plastic handle is screwed on, I'm thinking maybe its a glue smell? Water gets inside the ice tray in the front part (Not sure if thats meant to happen or not) But at the seams it where the smell is the strongest.

I bought this one at BestBuy, returned it thinking it was a dud, bought another on Amazon SAME ISSUE.

Is this safe? Manufacture defect?

I recently got Monetized on Tiktok a few months ago, And the fist week I made a few cents which I thought was a bit low, Then it just stopped and just make $0.

Recently contacted support and says my videos go against the community guidelines. But yet they haven't removed them? My account is in good standing, and if I go to my account I'm clearly in the creator rewards program, while support says I'm not?

Two seperate homes 500 feet apart, separate driveway, addresses, etc. But same property. My parents homeowners insurance only covered their home and the land. I pay seperate homeowners insurance just for home only as I do not own the land. Forgot what the deed was called but its bascially I "rent" the part of land for $0 a month.

Both insurance companies are aware of it, but now my parents homeowners cancelled them due to my home being on the property after 4 years.

What do we do? I looked into splitting the land and them "selling" me a portion of the land, but problem, was quoted upwards of $15,000 just some print in the book for the county.

Is there a specific policy for something like this to look into? This is all residental, no renting/money involved this with property. My parents house and land are 100% owned by them and my house only has 2 years left before I fully own it. Unless it makes it easier if land and both homes are in the same name? Which is something we could do as well.

Off topic note: Last year I expected their homeowners to prob drop them because they were being picky about a "A big dog" they seen that was not reported to them.... We don't own a dog nor do any of the neighbors in the past 5+ years. Along with "3rd residence" Which is a 5th wheel camper... for well when my parents take it camping off property.

Whats the reasoning for this? I refunded the customer, was instantly charged on my on file credit card for that amount. I check today and it shows customer was refunded from my wallet balance as well..

What is going on with YouTube? Back in April I was demontiized for "Inauthentic Content" It hasn't even been 90 days yet to reapply and suddenly it changed to "Unsatisfying or off-putting content

Content that may be emotionally manipulative, disturbing, nonsensical, shocking, or otherwise similarly unsatisfying to viewers without delivering significant creative, educational, or other value."

I'm not some reused content creator... I use a expensive camera and lens and physcially record my videos outside. I make longform content.

So far during this 3 month period has been a loss of at least $15,000

So YouTube clearly doesn't even know

EDIT: Looks like I'm not the only one, they have changed a ton of peoples "Inauthentic Content" to this.

Is it possible? I haven't found anywhere in the terms that say you cannot port it out, I'd be buying a "premium" number with it.

For windows 10/11 in my main build (just got 7gig fiber) Seems the best route is to go SFP+ instead of 10G ethernet.

Currently have a 82599EN based 10Gtek nic. Should I just stick with that is there something cooler/better? Its an X8 card, but running in X4 due to no other slots in my motherboard (using an RTX 4090)

I am able to get at least right at 7gbps when connecting directly to the modem with a RJ45 module.

I did get some weirdness with the current Single Mode duplex transceivers I have, HiFiber! on both end download is fine but upload is only 300mbps or so its unstable. But if I have 10GTek on one end and HiFiber! on the other its fine.

I already had ethernet ran, but I also have some Single Mode I can run which wouldn't take 30 mins to do, and it seems like everyone recomends to go the Fiber route than ethernet.

Will connect to a UniFi Cloud Gateway Fiber.

I was looking at maybe getting the TRENDnet TEG-10GECSFP since it seems newer?

My Fiber just got upgraded to 7Gig and most I can get is 3-5gbps its not every stable and is all over the place. Using the latest Unifi 10G SFP+ Rj45 and tried a 10G Media Converter with a DAC cable with the same results.

Flow Control Enabled & Disabled

IPS, QoS, etc disabled.

I did a "move" which is bascially the same property but different house, and was new service.

Was hoping the install would happen faster, but just paid the new bill that came out. I'm guessing the whole month is gone when I cancel no proration? What if I downgrade the old service? as in remove TV and downgrade the speed? Would I get a proration then?

And for those that have done it, is moving a Spectrum Mobile account from one to another easy? There are no phone balances just the numbers.

Another note: I also have a billing credit on my bill. Would they send that credit as a refund?

Which would be the better option? I have a UDM Pro which only has Gigabit ethernet, I have 2Gig Fiber. Currently I use a 10G TP-Link Media converter with a 10G transceiver going to my UDM Pro using single mode fiber.

Would it be best, ONU > Media Converter > DAC to UDM Pro?

or

ONU > UDM Pro 10G SFP+ RJ45 ?

I know the RJ45 stuff gets hot and my office is usually pretty warm as it is. I had a mikrotik SFP+RJ45 awhile back for 2.5G for a switch and it way to hot, but had replaced it with a switch with SFP ports.

The 10G Media Converter though is just warm to the touch, Plus I'd only need to get a DAC cable.

Backstory: Reason I have a media converter in the first place as the fiber I had installed at my parents house as at the time it wasn't offered for my address despite being around 650ft away.

Now there is the possiblity of getting fiber installed from the ISP at my house, so thinking of my options on how to go about it. ONU on a stick is not supported for my ISP's setup sadly.

If RJ45 Unifi or broadcom based 10GTEK?
