Some people don't have gut problems from birth no matter what they do

Some people are constantly on antibiotics if they get sick, smoke, drink, eat beyond unhealthy do drugs and dont have gut problems.

Someone else who tried to be healthy their whole life always has gut problems. Also it seems like a lot of times it runs in the family.

I understand for a healthy gut you would want good mmc, motility, bile and acid. But these 2 people both ideally have that.

Is it microbiome? If it was.. why the person who takes antibiotics all the time when they get sick doesnt destroy their gut?

This is making me want to leave tech sales, is this common?

I was talking to someone in the industry, and he told me he would advise me not to leave the current company I was at because every place that does well ends up just doubling goals, shrinking territories and over hiring.

Well, we got a new sales leader who ended up doubling our goals and we do not get leads anymore, everyone on our team is below 50% of quota every month.

It seems like orgs like chainguard and samsara have done the same thing, am I wrong or is this becoming very common in tech sales?

Primary and GI recommend rifaximin for months.

They both said its a pretty safe antibiotic and to take it for months for maximum results. Has anyone been on it for months?

Struggling with manual work prospecting

We have to make 80 calls a day which i do not mind doing. The problem is finding these contacts takes so long we go on linkldn and search a few roles and try to find the appropriate contact for each company.. which we are kind of guessing. Either IT/CX/Operations. Then if we find the contact but import them and they dont have a # gotta restart. It takes so long any advice?

Motility+ kill phase+ repair?

So from what I see this is what most functional doctors recommend for sibo.. do these 3 things at the same time and your sibo will be cured. Has anyone done these 3 at same time and still stuck with sibo? Antibiotics and herbals?

Endeavor/shigarki vs prime all might

I wasn't sure normally how close it would be, but after seeing the clips in mha vigilantes... i assume he would literally 1 shot endeavor considering that wasnt even all mights prime.

Also after looking at it i feel like he would destroy shigaraki as well

Thoughts?

I use to bodybuild, but after a year i noticed i was slowly losing muscle and gaining fat. Then i noticed i had slowed gastric emptying as well. My body basically fell apart, even though i was able to eat food without feeling full or throwing up. Did this happen to anyone else?

Before I knew i was even having gut issues/sibo.. my first symptom was actually muscle loss. i went from 170lb to 150lb, the first year. Then after that everything really went crazy, and I have done every test...so I still think it originated from the gut

Symptoms: Random anxiety, insomnia, muscle loss, slowed metabolism, sometimes internal vibrations, and brain fog, bloating, constipation.

What has helped the most has been probiotics (without gums) and no prebiotics in them and zinc/copper (slight copper deficiency)

I think allicin and mastic gum helped slightly as well, but mastic gum hurt my stomach

and avoiding certain heavy-fiber foods and carbs, gluten, dairy, and yeast, as well as avoiding things like dried dates, corn, gums (xanthan, etc.), and vegetables.

Everything i tried: Spore-based probiotics (Just Thrive), NAC (600 mg), mastic gum, lactoferrin, oregano oil, allicin, Atrantil, magnesium glycinate, chamomile tea, mineral supplements, red light therapy, Candibactin AR and BR, glutamine, digestive enzymes, peppermint oil, artichoke extract, milk thistle, turmeric/curcumin, psyllium husk, apple cider vinegar, ginger (tea/juice), methylated B vitamins, breathwork and vagus nerve exercises, betaine HCl, and PHGG.

Why did zinc/copper/just thrive probiotics help me the most out of everything i tried?

Im still not cured.

I have not been able to tolerate glycinate... i was for about a month but then it started hurting my stomach and then even after taking a break it hurts my stomach.

Has anyone had this experience and switched to carnosine?

Majority of people have no idea why they have SIBO. Most tests and bloodwork come back normal. Most people I see who have “cured” it did so using antimicrobials or antibiotics.

If I had to guess, it’s a microbiome issue, maybe bacteria hiding under biofilms. I only come to this conclusion because too many people have SIBO without any obvious health issues. Maybe it’s a type of bacteria we don’t know how to target yet, I’m not sure. Or maybe we were missing certain bacteria from birth, and then one day SIBO flared up due to some trigger. Does everyone with sibo have a slow mmc?

Your guys thoughts on what the cause most likely is?

Why can someone eat poorly and not have gut issues, but then someone else can eat so healthy and struggle a lot? What is the main factor?

Both people have good bloodwork.

Is it mainly four things, bile, motility, bacteria, and stomach acid? Or is it more about genetics? What is the main driver?
