I search up some normal stuff like cooking or baking and the first thing that appears is some bigot racist shi full of antisemitism , Islamophobia , homophobia and other forms of bigotry

like bro I wanna see baking stuff not this and it is not just a one off case

Not because I have money, but because of deen.

Today at the masjid, a white man came in wearing shorts. He looked pretty nervous and out of place, so I initially assumed he might be a revert.

After salah, I saw him talking to an elderly brother from the masjid. It turned out that his cousin had married a Muslim man and converted, and that had encouraged him to start learning more about Islam himself.

He ended up talking to me too and asking some genuinely good questions. I could smell alcohol on him, but honestly, I just ignored it. He was there to learn, and that was what mattered.

He asked me things like:

1. Does Allah SWT have emotions?
2. How do I understand Islam properly?
3. If I disbelieve or commit sins, will Allah SWT punish me and put me in Hell?

These weren’t questions asked to mock Islam. He was genuinely trying to understand.

Walking home from the masjid, it really hit me how grateful I am that I was born Muslim and already had a path towards deen from a young age.

We can sometimes take that for granted.

Big respect to reverts and to people who genuinely take the time to discover Islam for themselves instead of forming their entire view of it from Western media headlines.

That man was literally trying to research Islam and understand it for himself. May Allah SWT guide him to the truth and make his journey easy. 🤲
