These cat taxes are getting outrageous!

Recent feline legislation in my jurisdiction has gone up to 20 ounces of fine silver a month. I’m not sure how much more I can take!

1/2 AGE for $10 Indian Head, fair trade?

Fair and equitable? If not, which side of the deal is better?

*not soliciting this trade!! Just asking for your opinions

First year ✅

One year in!

Paid $3455 on August 2, 2025 for the 1 oz AGE

Cost basis/per ounce average paid: $3852
(Minus the airplanes, they aren’t counted in the numbers, I’m an aviation nerd and they are just for fun!)

I’ve learned a lot from this sub and wanted to say thanks!!

What’s the most you’ve ever spent on a “collectible” silver Eagle?

I know some people scoff at the idea of a “semi-numismatic ASE”
An Eagle is an Eagle right?
But there are some pretty cool ones out there with some not so cool premiums! What’s the coolest/most expensive ASE you’ve ever added to the collection? Was it worth it?

Eagle Gram from the United States Mint

With the retail demand ever on the rise for fractional gold, do you think the United States Mint will ever make an Eagle Gram? (Similar to Canada’s Maple Gram)
Would you buy? Imagine the premium!

Do you label/track each physical piece of bullion?

I understand it’s common practice to track our purchases via a spreadsheet app. But, are you individually tracking each physical piece of bullion? For example, if you have multiple 2002 American silver eagles, but you bought them at different times, can you identify which one you bought at which date? Does anybody else get this OCD about it? Am I getting too emotional attached here?

History question- pardon my ignorance...

In the year 1880, for example, the United States circulated $1 Morgan dollar silver coins as well as $1 Indian Head gold coins. Why both at once?
