how do i deal with my emotions better ?

For the past month or so I've noticed that even the smallest things can completely ruin my mood for the entire day. One tiny thing happens and suddenly I feel numb lonely disappointed and overwhelmed and then I start overthinking everything and end up fighting with people for no reason

It's like I can't feel one emotion without it turning into ten other emotions and I genuinely don't know how to deal with it anymore

So how do you guys deal with your emotions? How do you stop one bad thing from ruining your entire day?

And please don't tell me to go out with friends or talk to them because I don't really have friends and I'm mostly stuck at home rn

Give me your best advice whether it's practical healthy stupid or absolutely unhinged at this point I'll take anything

Update lelo cuties

Update as of 12:28 PM

For anyone who doesn't know what happened, please refer to the post linked above.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Neet\_india/s/7oruKErIjx

I woke up around 7:10 a.m. and stayed in the drawing room, waiting for my parents to leave for the temple like they do every morning. Around 8, they left, and I rushed to my room, got ready, took a bath, and kept thinking about how I was going to talk to them.

After a while, I decided I'd study while waiting for the right moment. But when I went looking for my laptop, it was gone. My charger too. I panicked.

I drank some water, went to my parents, and asked where it was. They told me I wouldn't be using my laptop or my phone anymore.

I tried explaining everything. I promised I'd study seriously. I cried more than I've cried in a long time. But nothing changed.

They said a lot of things that hurt, but at the end of the day, they're my parents, and I know I made mistakes.

As of 12:30, my dad has gone out with my mom for some work. I managed to get my phone for a few minutes just to update you all.

He told me I should do a BBA from any university and then an MBA instead of wasting more time. They're convinced I won't get into anything

I honestly don't know what happens next. If things change, I'll come back and update you all.  Okebieeeee

19F and 19M Did I do something wrong?

I need some outside perspective because I'm feeling really confused.

I was in a relationship with a guy for about 3.5 years, from October 2022 until recently. Like any relationship, we had ups and downs, and I know I made mistakes too. But throughout the relationship, I genuinely tried my best to make him feel loved every day. I made drawings for him, built websites for him, wrote a book for him, and always tried to show him how much he meant to me.

The relationship wasn't always healthy. There were many times when he verbally insulted me and said things that hurt me deeply. In September 2025, I decided I wanted to leave because I felt the situation had become too much for me to handle. He convinced me to stay and promised he would improve. To his credit, the verbal abuse stopped after that, but we still fought a lot, and he often said things that made me feel worthless or like I wasn't enough.

One thing that always bothered me is that in all these years, he never called me. Not once. Even after moving out of his parents' house, he only communicated through text. Whenever we had arguments, I would ask if we could talk things through on a call, but he always refused. I never understood why.

A few days ago, on the second day of my period, I was in a lot of pain and probably came across as irritated in a text conversation. We ended up fighting. During the argument, he told me he was fed up with me, that he was only tolerating my behavior, and said several things that made me feel terrible about myself. He later apologized, but something changed in me after that conversation.

For the last few days, I've been crying constantly. I became scared to express my feelings because I was worried about how he would react. He kept asking if something was wrong, but I couldn't bring myself to tell him everything I was feeling.

Today, he got frustrated and said he wanted to break up. Then he blocked me.

The truth is, I don't really feel like going back anymore. I still care about him, but I feel emotionally exhausted and hurt. After everything that happened, I don't know if I can trust myself to be vulnerable with him again.

Am I wrong for not wanting to go back? Am I being unfair, or is this relationship simply no longer healthy for me?
