Looking for a TC Helicon GO XLR Mini alternative

After 5-6 years of use, my Helicon mini mixer no longer works. The app crashes constantly, and I can't adjust anything to my liking. I'm looking for an alternative. What would be the best choice to combine it with my Rode NT1 Signature Series mic? My budget is around 200-215€.

Is 16 GB of VRAM actually enough for new games?

I have an RTX 5080, and I recently started to monitor, out of curiosity, how much VRAM games are actually using at 1440p with everything maxed out, including ray tracing and path tracing. I'm starting to think that even the 5080 isn't going to be enough in the next 2–3 years.

Mic/ audio advice

So, I recently got a new microphone as a gift for my 24th birthday, and my question is, should I replace my current one or not? The mic that I got as a gift is a Rode NT1 Signature Series. The one that I'm using now is a Fifine K688. Should I replace it or not? I'm also using a TC Helicon Go XLR Mini. What would be the best combination?

My room is not exactly soundproof or sound-treated. I have some acoustic panels on the back wall, but that's it.

It doesn't block out the sounds from outside entirely.

Also, I don't live alone.

My lamp just died searching for a replacement

As I said, my lamp, which I've used for 1.5 years, just died. I'm looking for a replacement and I don't really know what to buy. I don't want to throw money away. Would this be a good choice?

I want something good that shines bright, not some Chinese knockoff.

Opinion on deadlifts: Should I do them?

I recently started thinking about deadlifting again. But my question is: is it worth doing them? Everybody in my environment advises me not to do it, and I want to hear others' opinions on it.

My goal is to become stronger and just be fit.

I noticed that after I stopped doing them, my condition got worse and I felt fatigue faster on some exercises, but on the other side, my body felt less taxed, and I could buckle down more easily.

How can I improve my gaming/streaming setup

I want to add some light here and there to add some color to my room, and I don't know what to buy. I already have a Govee floor lamp light behind me, but I want something more. I was thinking of buying these Govee H6061 Glide Hexa light panels.

However, I don't know if I can stick them to my wall since it's not perfectly flat, and I'm wondering if they are easily removable.

Monitor upgrade: IPS to OLED colors calibration

I recently upgraded my monitor from an IPS to an OLED. I bought a MAG 271QPX QD-OLED E2 240Hz.

and I don't know how to configure it properly to get the best possible image. The colors look a bit washed out, and the screen itself is kind of dark.

Would anyone be able to help me with suggestions on what settings would be best and also if I should have HDR turned on?

Chair skin upgrade from The Witcher to Cyberpunk 2077

Due to the hot weather here in Europe, I ordered a skin for my leatherette chair because I didn't want to damage the leather from sweat, and I must say it looks great. Definitely worth the price. 10/10

The only downside is that I had to wait almost a week for shipping before it arrived. Please don't work with FedEx here in Europe; pick DHL or GLS

Problems with shipping to the Netherlands

I recently ordered a skin from the website, on July 20, and I still haven't received it almost a week later.. The quality of the products is excellent, but shipping is terrible. Please avoid working with FedEx, at least in Europe. Also, has anyone had problems with shipping to a certain country?

In search of a wireless controller for PC gaming

I'm looking for a wireless controller for PC gaming. Would anyone be able to recommend something to me? Any suggestions?

I'm not really used to Xbox controllers; I was more of a PlayStation guy for the last 12 years. My budget is around €60-€80, and I mostly play single-player, story-driven AAA games.

After 10 years of gaming on a console, I switched back to PC. What do you guys think of my setup Is there anything to improve?

My room is small, so there isn't a lot of space. I'm going to use this for gaming and streaming.

Specs: Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 5080, 64GB DDR5 6000MHz, 3x 1440p monitors. My main monitor is an OLED 360Hz.

Leatherette vs. fabric: Can I change it if I want to

Hi, I have a question. My chair is leatherette, and I don't want to damage it because I sweat a lot due to the warm weather. Right now, it's +32 Celsius here. in my country

I want to know if it would be possible to change from leatherette to fabric if I bought a skin. Also, would it feel better in a warmer climate, and is it worth it, or should I leave it as it is?

My Elgato camera isn't working.

Hi, I'm recently having a problem with my Elgato Facecam MK2. It isn't being detected in OBS or in the Elgato Camera Hub app. Everything is plugged in—every cable, etc. Has anyone encountered similar problems?

OBS issues: shutting down/freezing

Hi, I'm having a problem recently. Whenever I try to record or even stream when I'm playing a game in windowed mode, when I try to switch scenes in OBS, it freezes for a few seconds and crashes, even with the use of a Stream Deck. Has anyone encountered the same problem? I'm doing everything on one PC with 3 monitors. I also have a browser open. Is my PC the problem?

Did I choose the right chair format/size?

Hi, I recently bought a new Secretlab Titan Evo chair, and I'm wondering if I chose the right size. I went with the regular. I'm 175cm/5'9" and 93kg/205lbs. Right now, am I too heavy for this chair should I have chosen the XL?

Looking for a new smartwatch to replace my current one.

Hello, I'm looking for a smartwatch to replace my current Galaxy Watch, and I need some advice. My budget is around 200-250€. Any suggestions What would be the best choice?

  1. It needs to have a good battery life, at least 3-7 days.
  2. It needs to have NFC for contactless payments, etc.
  3. Just basic stuff: notifications, sports app, health, and fitness features.
