Sorry for the sniffling in the video but the wind is chilly. Yes, I keep repeating myself over and over, but it's out of the shock that she's a foot from me and trying to catch a mouse. And the fact that the mouse seemed to be heading towards us.
Accidental Serenity. But it made me do a double take. π π€π
Crossed paws, front & back. And her tail wrapped around her back feet.

I'm currently building the Metal Earth model of Serenity for my sister's birthday. So before I close up the cargo bay, I wanted to add a sticker to represent the stencils around the dinning room. I had to take a picture of it off my TV. The only way I could find a decent picture.
I was surprised to find that it's a repeating pattern of flowers and leaves numbering six.
Per the DVD feature: 10th character Serenity, Joss said Kaylee painted the stencil in the dining room.
Now, I've created my own head cannon.
When Kaylee painted it there were six people living on Serenity: Mal, Inara, Zoe & Wash, Kaylee, Jayne.
Zoe and Wash are a set of paired leaves because they're married. Kaylee and Inara are the two red flowers. The rest of the guys are the green leaves. The shape of the vine is sort of an "S" for Serenity their home. π
I also thought it was neat that it could be a "J" for Joss. But, that takes you out of the universe to the universe creator.
Also included the pictures of the model, so far. I haven't found the sticker I'm looking for yet to move on to the next step.
Skull shaped rock with eyes, nose, and mouth.... & whiskers, cheek bones, creepy scars like Joker?

She got a brand new play tent. ποΈ Which I set up with the squirrel in the bowl by the fire to be dinner. She took him out of the bowl & laid him on the fire. Then took a nap beside it. πΏοΈπ₯ π€
She also thinks exiting the tent through the hole in the top is the only way to get out. Despite it having a front and back door. π€£π
I got her some special food & a sparkler heart candle. Missed trying to get the sparkler on film. She watched with giant eyes π a foot away. And she then snubbed the food. π
If anyone knows the perfect food for picky eater kittens let me know. ππ₯°π
Oh and, she also got brand new purple flowers sunglasses. She absolutely loves them, you can tell. The black and white kitty is her tripod cousin Tippy tip. Who got to wear the glasses first. I was visiting when I bought them.

This is an *ancient* photo from 2002.π I was headed to Star Wars Celebration 2. First con I'd ever gone to, so didn't have cosplay costume yet. I used water based paint markers to add these Star Wars characters, sabers, ships to my natural nails (not press-on nails).
Just in case they need some explanation π : Vader's lightsaber, C3P0, R2D2, Yoda, and an X-Wing.
π€©π
I needed a small round end for shaping something teany. So I chopped the ends off of a Q-tip.
I also found out that it works good as a "push where there's supposed to be a bend and it didn't quite get bent the way " (sure there's a shorter name for that π€π).
Bonus, it doesn't leave any marks!! So I thought I'd share.
And thanks to u/plculver1, I'm using a magnetic floor vent cover as a work surface that holds the tiny pieces so they don't get accidentally lost. π€©π Thanks again for the ideas to all ya'll. πππ
I can't believe I forgot to include these in my "I want to believe" mash up post.
One on the left is from is Roswell UFO Museum. πΈπ½πΈ
It's here. Well, times 2. One for me and one I'm making for my sister's birthday.
Had half an idea to attempt building both at one time, but decided that might create more problems than it's worth. So one will be the learning curve*. (pun intended)*
The next question is which does she get and which is mine. π
Please note my sister & I always harass each other. We got older, but we didn't grow up.
Out & about with Baby Jessa. Chasing butterflies π¦, dragonflies, frogsπΈ , grasshoppers π¦.Then boops and falling asleep π€ in the hostas πΏ. She keeps insisting there is something under the pine treeπ². I can't see it. But keeps her entertained. ππ₯°π
Edit: skip to TLDR below if ya want to. Please understand, I didn't use AI. I took a picture my AI ignorant brain didn't recognize as AI and then added stickers I made with my phone (something I only figured out how to do by accident) and pasted my cat over top of the picture. I didn't know it was AI photo.
I've never used AI. I don't know how to use AI. I'm too old to recognize AI. I'm sorry that AI upsets people on here, but I was just making a cute and silly picture of my cat. My cousin sent me a photo of a raccoon because my family raised raccoons. And I've always called my cat a trash panda. So it was perfect to add her to the trash panda picture cuz that's what she is Plus, I love sunflowers.
Again sorry to annoy or upset anyone. But please understand, I had ZERO idea the original picture was AI. I was only trying to make people smile with a cute picture from the internet that I Photoshopped, literally the only way I know how. Using things I accidentally learned on my phone.
TL;DR To most people on here, I'm an old fart, probably. I'm Gen X. I only started making memes in 2008, and even then I'm sure I was probably behind most Gen X. I grew up in extreme boonies. Had 3 channels, most fuzzy. No cable in that house, even to today, they watch antenna TV! (only got wired internet in 2024, that's not a typo! ) I did the wiring in their house so they could connect to the wired internet (they never would have). Didn't have any gaming system, ever in that house. I didn't get a computer till 94 or 95. And then only used it for college. Sorry, the AI overlords will just take me, because that's technology I will probably never get.
The stickers I made on my phone are added in comments below.
I have been a fan since 1995. I'm in the middle of a rewatch, so I decided I finally had to buy the poster. It was quite the ordeal for it to get here. It got lost and shoved in a corner by USPS. It was on route for delivery from 14 July to 22 August, from New York to Indiana. It took 20 days just to get it from Indianapolis to where I live. Which is only a 2-hour drive.
But it finally made it!! So I decided I had to get my mashup t-shirts for a picture and share. I wouldn't think with this community I have to explain, but I'm going to just in case. π The gray shirt is from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. πͺ» π πͺ» And the purple shirt is Firefly/Serenity. π π¬οΈ
What are your favorite mashups? Please share pictures if you can. π
This was my silly post to some Star Wars subs, before I thought to search for a Metal Earth sub.
Been wanting to join since I 1st knew 501st existed in 2002 at Celebration II.
But seems there was a huge discrepancy in the measurements of the armor I purchased & made.
The creation process done while watching OT β€οΈπ€β€οΈ
I was doing a very difficult part on the bucket when Rogue Leader was aiming at the exhaust ports of the Death Star.
Baby Jessa's favorite way to sleep. When she's completely out, she ends up upside down and stretched all the way out.
I found my old tablet, and added a cat game.
This is her 1st introduction to a game for her. Seems she more wants to eat the tablet.
Anyone have recommendations for cat games?
This may be the last Metal Earth model I put together. I thought Boba Fett was difficult. Then I made the Trooper. At least Boba Fett's armor already has battle scars on it. The Trooper ended up with battle scars I created. And then Vader, all black metal was definitely difficult to deal with.
Thought I'd share my collection. This isn't all of them. The X-Wing I made is missing.
Picture 5 π: the most dangerous enemy the Empire has ever faced. π
S2E3 Sleepless. Sorry for bad quality. Pic of my TV.
It's no red speedo, but the red shirt, white tennis shoes, & blue jeans are a nice change from the suits. He looks so huggable.
Bonus: Intro to Krycek episode. He's so cute trying to assert himself and *boss* Mulder around.
And Tony Todd, so glad he was part of the show. He belonged in a creepy X-File for sure!
Who are some of your favorite guest stars.
Edit: does anyone else curse out Krycek every time he speaks?
